I purchased 3 of these 140mm fans and a single 120mm for my NZXT Switch 810, and I must say that my experience thus far is amazing. They're been running constantly for almost 3 months now, and I can barely make them out. I am using the included voltage "step down" cable that came with the fans. With that cable and a full power source (Through the included fan hub on the Switch 810) these fans maintain a consistent speed and reveal no "Flicker" that other users have reported. However, I did test these fans with both a fan controller, and the on-motherboard fan connections, and with both of these power options I did notice significant flicker when the power was stepped down. This is due to the fact that these fans are -not- PWM fans are they are not designed to work at partial power settings. They look fantastic at full power, or half power **when using the included step-down adapted**. If you use a fan controller, or plug directly to your motherboard, you will notice flicker, and some "whining."Overall, I cannot dock a star for this, because the fans do not claim to be PWM fans and are supposed to be hooked up to a full power source. They are very quiet and move a lot of air, and keep my toasty rig at a reasonable level.Other Notes: The fan is actually a teeny bit thicker than most others, so they can be a tight squeeze in small places (ie: the font fan slots on your case)Build:* Intel i7 920 clocked at 2.67 (Stock, will be OCing now that I have a non-stock heatsink)* MSI n580GTX Lightning* 24GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 RAM* 2 1TB HDDs* EVGA nex750b semi-modular PSU* Switch 810 White Case* Antec Kuhler 620 self-contained water cooled CPU Heatsink* Aerocool Dead Silence Case fans (Blue LED (obviously)) 3x 140mm 1x 120mm for RAD

These fans are superb. I am blown away at how quiet they are at full rpm.(no pun intended) I was expecting some sort of trade off for performance but they certainty deliver.Pros:GORGEOUSNearly silent with a pleasing toneHeavy and sturdyFluid dynamic bearingSleeved cableComes with resistor and rubber screwsA ton of airflow, and more importantly it doesn't shoot out of the side, it is directed quite straight.Cons:I am being real here, there are absolutely no cons. (will update if this changes)AeroCool really hit it on the mark here. These are my new go-to fans. I have used Various brands; Noctua, Phanteks, Zalman, Corsair, etc, While I think they have all been good, none of them are as slick as these and offer the balance that these do. PICK THESE UP!

They're not kidding when they say Dead Silence. I sit less than two feet from the front of my case and they're inaudible. I have two of the 140mm white LED fans mounted at the front of my case. They generate a good amount of static pressure, look good, and are quiet. The LEDs are bright but not obnoxiously so. If I get a 280mm closed-loop radiator for my CPU, I'll be retrofitting it with these fans. They're that good. The only fans I can see buying over these are Noctuas, but I got these because the Noctua color scheme looks like something out of the late '70s. I've got a white NZXT S340 case a MSI SLI Krait mobo and that brown/tan would look all kinds of weird.

Fragile but super quiet. Totally worth the money. If your less then careful with your pc, these probably are not for you. I have 2 of these, 1 is blue. one lays on its side and the other is vertical. They work great either way. They are more fragile then other fans. If you take care of these, they will work hard for you. i am very impressed.
