1 - Noise: These things are quiet! I replaced two 120mm antec fans with two of these 140mm F14 fans. I can barely hear these things when they spin up at higher rpms, and they seem to push the same amount of air but much quieter (perceived).2 - Compatibility: I had no problems connecting to the system fan connectors on my x570 mobo and setting smart fan control. I don't believe the RPMs are being reporting correctly, but the load control is working perfectly and my cpu temperatures are actually on average better now. I love the fact that I no longer need to manage my case fans from the case fan controller.3 - Price: Cheaper then other rgb based fans, but with the added pwm support.4 - Cable Management: I don't love the cables as the secondary connector cable is too short and is harder to hide behind the case (the shame is real) and worse when connected to another fan.

This is exactly what it should be for the price and RPM/CFM ratings. It's not going to measure up to the equivalent Noctua option, but then it costs less than half the money, and you do still get niceties like 4-pin PWM and PWM-sharing/daisy chaining, making installs less complicated. There doesn't seem to be much vibration, but I'm sure using rubber shock mounts instead of screws directly into the case frame might bring the noise floor down even a little further. The main complaint I have (and it's minor) is not in the fan's volume at load, but it's pitch. Comparing to Noctuas in another system I have, the Arctic 140mm is a bit higher pitched/more whining in tone, which tends to cut through the relatively low frequency noise floor of the average home (mine included). As such, while it's not necessarily louder than a Noctua decibels-wise, it's more noticeable.Again, none of this is a deal breaker in the slightest, and it's what you'd expect from a fan at this price point. However, if you're looking for near-silent operation, you'll either have to pony up for the Noctuas or sacrifice max airflow/RPMs and use the "Silent" version of this F14 (or go with the P14 Silent).Overall, for a more budget-oriented fan of reasonable quality, this fits the bill just right. It's hard to imagine getting better performance or build quality for the money, and even with the noise caveat, my system is still near-silent at idle with two of these on the front mounts.

Want silence, strong airflow ? This is the best fan Arctic makes. Have used Arctic fans and coolers for over 15 years.Strange but true, even the newer 3-phase static pressure or regular Bionix Arctic fans do not match these for coolingor silence for non radiator, just case cooling. I know because I have a stack of 140's and 120's (BioniX) boxed and taken out of service due to ufo like noises over 1100 rpms, and pwm speeds not accurate or easily controlled.Just buy these! They are best performance (Airflow, silence, pwm control, built in fan splitter for daisy chaining of fans).

If you like paying rock bottom prices for competitively quiet and effective fans, Arctic is your fan company. I've been buying these white fans for years and they have never let me down. If you want a killer warranty or top tier aesthetics, you came to the wrong place. But if you just want fans that work great for cheap, look no further.
