They are very quiet and quite competitive with other brands. I've been favoring them lately as they are significantly cheaper than the 'brown' ones but perform about the same. They are great as case fans, and I've also used them as a replacement for a fan on a hot swap bay.

I bought four of these for use in a server chassis. I can barely hear the server running. The fans installed quickly taking me only a few minutes to install all four fans. Great product!

Great airflow, dead silent. What more do you need to know.

Ordered 2 additional fans because I really liked the first set I got. The 2nd set was as to be expected, they work great and are as quiet as the first order. I am am disappointed that on this order I received returned/used fans. You could tell both boxes were opened (one box having a small tear) because of the way the cables were wrapped. One had the cable wrapped around the fan and the other was just flopping in the box and neither had any kind of tie on it. One of the fans the mounting screws were missing. For the price I guess one cannot complain too much but when you buy something you should get new or at least get repacked so it it appears new.
