Bought two of these to replace the stock fans in a TT chaser A71 case, since they're thin enough to clear the heat sink. The replacement for the top fan was effortless, installed quickly and easily. The power lead was easily long enough for a full tower case as well. The door replacement is a bit different. I bought these because they're 20mm thick, but the mounting tabs are only on one side of the housing. For the TT case, it was the wrong side, or the 'inside' of the case. This means I'd have to mount it with bolts, not the thick self threading screws typically used to mount fans. The problem with this is that I don't have any black screws, so I'll probably have to pick up some paint next time I'm near the store. Otherwise, these are great fans, virtually silent and being TDB, should outlast bearing or especially sleeve fans. It's 3pin btw, and I have a fan controller to set the speed.Edit - June,2014I noticed a ticking coming from my computer and it turned out to be this fan which is installed in the top of my case to pull air off the heatsink area. TDB fans are rated to work vertically or horizontal, so that's not the issue. What I found was one of the numerous and thin fins had flexed down and was striking the case frame. Since the frame is flexible, I adjusted the mounting screws until the blade contact stopped. Back to being silent. I'd still buy more of these fans since the thinness of the frame turned out to be a nice unintended feature so I didn't have to replace the fan. As a side note, the thermaltake fan this replaced, which I installed in the case floor, has already failed.

Did not come with a molex adapter like some other reviewers mentioned, but that’s not in the product description so I just got my hopes up. Does come with a two-pin extender though. It works great, good airflow, mounting was simple (for exhaust, screws aren’t long enough for intake). Lights are bright but not so luminous to display the whole case.

I was apprehensive about buying this fan for my CoolerMaster HAF case after reading some of the reviews on Amazon. However, I couldn't be happier with this product. It replaced the 230mm top fan of my case. The stock fan had become very noisy, and the fan itself was starting to separate from the motor. I was also looking to get a bit stronger fan to move a little more air as I was having some issues overheating. The BitFenix fan holes lined up perfectly with the existing holes on my CoolerMaster HAF case. As some reviews indicate, the holes aren't pre-threaded. However, I didn't find this to be a problem. I held the fan in place with my left hand while I screwed the fan into place with my right hand. The screws that came with my HAF CoolerMaster cut into the plastic perfectly, carving out some perfect threads. The BitFenix fan is super quiet - I can't even hear it. To my delight, it does seem to push more air flow through. Additionally, the blue LED lights are nice, but that really had no bearing on my purchase.I'll probably buy a couple more of these to replace the other two 230mm fans in my case assuming I still have such high regards after a few months of use.

If you're looking for a good LED fan, this is not a good choice for you. I bought the orange LED model and its not even close to orange. The LEDs are Dim, not bright, and the color is Yellow/maybe Gold, But nowhere near "Orange" The fan itself functions alright, and is pretty quiet, but the color is a terrible Piss yellow and not the Orange color I was expecting... You can see the yellow fans on the front compared to the actual "Orange" colors from my RGB ram and Orange Cooler master 120mm fan on the back. The front Fans are not even close to "Orange" Color...
