This fan runs quiet. Attractive RED LED to match the front red LED of my HAF X Case (which I love for it's cooling ability.) Fan has No LED on/off switch. Comes with 3 Pin connector Plus a 3 - 4 Pin adapter included. I connected to PSU. Fan is well packaged by Cooler Master to prevent damage in shipment. Thanks to another reviewer, I gave this fan a shot for the 2nd optional 200mm top fan in the HAF X Case EVEN THOUGH Cooler Master does not list this fan for the HAF X case. Like the other reviewer said - it fits perfectly in the HAF X (lines up to case holes perfectly) BUT THE SCREWS that come with the FAN do not fit the holes in the HAF X case. NO problem because the HAF X case comes with the extra 6-32*9 screws needed to install this fan into the HAF X case top fan holes. So - yes -- it works in the HAF X - just use the extra CASE screws - not the FAN screws that come with the fan IF installing in the HAF X.My purpose for this fan was to ADD the optional second top 200mm case fan to the HAF X because I video edit and game and needed the extra exhaust, having changed the back case fan to push/pull intake for the Corsair CPU cooler. I Chose it even though Cooler Master recommended a different optional top FAN that is ONLY sold on their Site. Unfortunately that other CM fan, a stock fan, also has a $10 shipping charge from CM. The specs on this fan (and it's Red LED) are perfect for my airflow design and fan LED colors match. And NO shipping charge. This Fan works exactly as advertised & the reds on this fan match the included front RED HAF X case fan.ABOUT INSTALL IN THE HAF X CASE: Install was a pain - not because of the fan -- but because with a HAF X case, you can't totally remove the TOP of the case to install the 2nd fan. The case top REMAINS connected to the case (even after removal) by the Front Panel wires. This makes it very awkward to work around a case top that is still attached by wires which are "short". BE CAREFUL installing a 2nd top fan in a HAF X case so you don't dislodge the wires. Fortunately I had the tool I needed to work around this issue, moving the top around while I worked. That tool came in the Belkin 36piece demagnatized PC Tool Kit w/ case that I had also purchased here on Amazon a while back. Still, any small head - narrow width screwdriver will do if it's not too long. This FAN, once installed, does everything it's supposed to. My case temps are 20C Mobo and 13C CPU. Am pleased with the HAFX case airflow, my I7-2600K CPU, this extra 200mm fan for the top, and my Corsair H80 CPU Cooler especially. Mobo is a ASUS P8Z68-VPRO/Gen3. 16GB Corsair Vengeance and lots of hard & optical drives. Corsair 850W PSU and PNY GTX560. TEMPS are important for video editing & games thus . . do recommend this fan for the 2nd top fan in a HAF X case using the HAF X case screws.FAN SPECS ON PACKAGE ARE:SIZE: 200mm x 200mm x 30mmSPEED: 700rpmCD 12V 0.30A (max)110CFM19dBAAir Pressure (0.595 mmH2)Rated Voltage: 12 VCDCurrent: 0.16A (Max 0.28A)30,000 hrsPower Consumption 3.36WCONNECTOR: 3Pin w/ one 3 to 4 pin adapterLED: REDScrews (to fit the cases it's speced for - see Cooler Master website) I used my HAF X case screws instead.CON: I tried to register this fan on Cooler Master and NONE of the #'s on the package or the Fan itself (and there's many) were accepted as valid SNs.Per the Cooler Master website, the Fan is supposed to come with a Serial Number tag attached to the 3Pin Connector wires -- but there wasn't a tag attached. Keeping my Amazon receipt as proof of purchase in case it's needed.CUSTOMER SERVICE: Cooler Master Live Chat on their website has been AWESOME, helpful, thorough and patient with my build. And by the way. I'm a 64 year old Grandma. If I can build my own PC from scratch -- so can you! MANY CUDOS to Amazon - a GREAT place to buy PC parts.

Purchased this fan to use in a Cooler Master HAF 912 case and I couldn't be happier. Installation was a breeze, though the screw holes were not pre-threaded so I had to force the screws in to get the holes threaded, which took me a few extra minutes. In terms of performance, this fan performs exceptionally well and it is very quiet in doing so. The fan dispels lots of air from the top of the case and I cannot hear it spinning even if I put my ear next to the case (mind you I am not using any fan controllers, it is running at full speed). Fan comes with 4 screws and a 4 pin to 3 pin fan adapter in case you have no fan headers left to use on your motherboard and must connect it to the power supply.I am not a fan of LED's on my fans because they tend to keep my room lit up which doesn't allow me to sleep but the red color is very sleek looking and not a bright red but a nice, darker red which looks very nice glowing out of my case. This fan is so good I am planning to buy another one to replace the two 120mm's I have in front of the case.Don't hesitate in buying this fan as you'll have a hard time finding a similar fan for the price/performance.P.S. For those who cannot stand and/or want the LED's, you can easily cut the LED wire on the fan with a knife or small scissor which I was planning to do until I saw how sleek it looked.

Bought this fan for installation into my CoolerMaster HAF mid-tower case, which accommodates 200mm fans. In this case the fan fits perfectly, although it does require longer screws for mounting (longer screws were included with my case for this purpose).OVERALL IMPRESSIONSFan seems to have been constructed with quality materials and appears sturdy. Fan blade is well balanced on the unit I received. Sleeve-type bearing used for this model is not the best fan bearing out there, but should provide a good service life for this fan which has a relatively low rotational speed.Clear color and red LEDs look nice if you are looking for that type of lighting effect. As reported by others, LEDs are not too bright even when the fan is at 100% duty cycle (LEDs appear to dim slightly as voltage to the fan drops by fan control). Don't let the LEDs stop you from purchasing this fan, as you can remove them easily with a pair of wire snips if so desired. This fan moves plenty of air. Since installing this fan and re purposing the 120mm fan it replaced in another area of my case, my CPU temps have dropped by 1-2°C on all four cores at idle. This keeps the fans on my Corsair H80 at a lower speed (less noise) which is exactly what I was hoping for.I have not experienced the clicking noise reported by some other purchasers. This fan is for all practical purposes, silent. The sound level difference between 50% duty cycle and 100% is unnoticeable from typical use distances (the front of my case sits about 3-4 feet from my right ear).BUY THIS FAN if you can fit a 200mm fan and like a quiet PC.

I got this to install in place of a RV bathroom ceiling fan. The fans they use in RVs are somewhat noisy, and after a couple years the screen sags and the fan hits that as it turns, making a terrible racket. This is working great as a replacement. Pretty easy to wire up (as a guide I used the pictures showing a 3-wire pc fan on this page: [...]. I used the RV's switch (although I'll probably change that later to a better switch) and two wire nuts followed by electrical tape. The only problem we have now is that it's so quiet you can forget it's on; however, it takes so little power that doesn't matter. If you're using this fan for this purpose, you'll probably have to drill one hole in the RV's fan bracket, but because of the weight of the fan you shouldn't need more than two mounting screws. In my case, by mounting it not dead center, I was able to use existing holes to mount it. And it looks fine.
