I bought these white Corsair fans to replace the older single fan that was in the front of my computer - if anything, simply out of pure boredom I just wanted to upgrade the visual aesthetics of my PC. But, once I installed the two white fans up front and ran the computer, the white fans really gave it a cool "afterburner" look and I also noticed a significant drop in my PC's temperature from its previous average of 34-36 degrees Celsius to average 29-32, so I was very glad to see that adding the two fans really improved temps as well. As far as noise levels, considering these are running full speed they are pretty quiet but there is a slight fan sound since they are right up front but nothing significant. Very happy with them and will be purchasing the Corsair RGB's w/controller to replace the top and rear fans next.

I put all three in the front of the Phanteks p400a high-airflow case. The white light from these fans is less blue-tinted than most LED lighting is capable of. If this is an issue for you, you should opt for the earlier Corsair model. The light is also not as bright as I expected. I am OK with this because the overall appearance of them is pleasant. At full power, the fans are very noticeable, but there is not any annoying whine or other distracting sounds. This is more a function of the type of case I chose more than the fans. If you are looking for something quieter, you should go with 140mm fans, if possible.

As I'm more of the one light color dude, I love white the most as it gives you the best shine into your computer case. Brightness is fine, not too bright, not too dim. Overall I'm happy, installation is also easy as it's only 4 screws to put them into the case. Quick tip is to check if your motherboard has enough ports to plug in 3 fans or more. If you don't, you need to get fan connector spliter which is like $5 so no big deal.

Powerful fans with no RGB means a very affordable fan, which for my stream PC is all I needed. I bought 9 and would buy again, but those building a PC, be warned these fans are SIGNIFICANTLY louder than the SP120s I have in my gaming PC. At least 3-4x as loud. Very noticeable, but at this price point, it’s something you deal with I think.
