Great fans - produce more light (ambient) than the SickleFlow 120 I had. They provide what feels like solid airflow through the front of my Lancool First Knight case - more so than the stock 140's that were in the case.As for noise levels, they aren't any more silent than the stock fans - so I would consider it a trade-off of more airflow for light-to-moderate noise levels. The closer image shows the ambient lighting a little inside the case (towards the rear). The fan in the upper rear exhaust is a SickleFlow 120, which really doesn't provide much ambient lighting compared to these SP140's.The top-down image gives a little more context with ambiance - the red lighting on the right side of the case is provided by other lighting I have set up around my computer area - the wall to the left of the case shows the actual light bleed out the clear case panel on the side. You can see there's a decent amount of light produced by these fans, and they don't only light up the blades(as is much more evident with the SickleFlow in my opinion).

I have 5 of these on my rig currently, bought them about 5 months ago and they're still going strong, no signs of wear. I replaced some nautica fans I had on my rad with these and I'm very pleased with the improvement to the overall eye candy of my rig as well being able to pull a good deal of air and remain silent(@ 3/4 guesstimated speed). I got 24 fans in it overall, all Corsair SP 140/120mm and being able to move that amount of air they do with the only audible sound being the movement of air is awesome. Out of 24 I've only had to replace 1, due to a friend being dumb and poking it with his finger while it was running, sending a fan blade across the room in a rainbow like arc... and a few days later after I attempted super glue it back on.

I replaced all my Corsair fans in my case with two of these and 6 of the 120MM fans and they run so much quieter than the ones that came in my Corsair 500R Carbide ATX Case. My case sits 40" from my head and I can barely hear them running and they also do a bang up job of producing decent air flow. I do have one minor gripe and that is why do you not put the direction arrows on the body so that a person does not have to guess what direction the fan turns and the direction of air flow at a glance, I mean come on would it really increase the cost that much to use a sticker or even have it in the mold as they used to have it and did have like on the ones I removed from the case? Other than that detail there is nothing I can say to debunk anything about these fans!☺

Great looking fan, operation is as expected, operation is fairly quiet, but not as quiet as a 120mm Fan, keeps temepratures in case roughly around 40 degrees C. One thing that is not as good with this fan is the connector design, it's a 3 pin style female connector, and on my Corsair TX750M power supply, does not provide any connectors to power the fans, only Molex connectors for fans, so you have to purchase a Molex to 3 pin male adapter to power these fans.
