Just got 2 of these to replace the stock fans on my Corsair H115i all in one cooler. The stock corsair fans made a rattling noise at low rpm. Otherwise they performed fine. I did a little research and came across this Phanteks model. I was considering the Noctua fans but really couldnt deal with the brown color scheme. My case is a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX and came with similar fans which I was happy with. I have installed these new fans on my radiator and temps are still good but at lower rpms now. Even when I use the CorsairLink software to run these fans at full speed, they make minimal sound. They came with accessories most fans don't include, they look great in my opinion and they feel well built. All the cables are sleeved and overall these fans have a very clean look. It seems Phanteks put a lot of thought into the design of these.I am a bit confused however in regards to which Phanteks model are best for radiator usage. The amazon description reads "case/radiator fans". The Phanteks site makes no mention that these are radiator fans and in fact has a model PH-F140MP which looks to be made specifically for radiators. Amazon also sells the PH-F140MP. It could be that the PH-F140XP is an all around fan that can be applied either as radiator or case fan. Reviews indicate that it performs well on radiators. If anyone else has some insight on this please comment.

Wow! I needed a good case fan to move a bunch of air, and I believe I found it. Noise levels are very important to me, and this fan is so quiet. I did a lot of research, and it looks like this fan is a direct competitor to the Noctua fans. Those are GREAT fans, but my goodness the colors. I couldn't do it.. THis is a beautiful fan, and it is extremely quiet. I have it running as an intake and it varies from 400-1000 RPM. I never hear it. EVER. It is controlled by my Corsairlink software, and frequently starts and stops as needed. There isn't even the slightest startup noise, and the airflow is fantastic. This comes with numerous adapters including a 4 to 3 pin, a molex power adapter and a voltage reducer to keep the RPM's down, although that isn't needed as this fan is quiet and efficient. Great,, purchase, and I'll be replacing my remaining fans with these. Worth the price.

Quiet and powerful, used these to replace some Corsair exhaust fans; 4 of them, due to a larger radiator setup. I thought the corsairs pushed a good amount of air but when ramped to full speed, they sounded like a jet engine. I’m using the Phanteks SP 140 series for my radiator and have a Phanteks case so when upgrading it made logical sense to stick with Phanteks. Plus, the SP series have performed so great for me already, I figured these would perform just as well. And they sure did. Once installed I had to double check myself if these were running at full speed, I didn’t hear anything at all, they in fact were at full speed and creating a mini tornado out of my case. The air coming out of these fans was strong enough to levitate a paper plate and sling it away, while doing it virtually silent. My temps dropped about 5c, enough for me to make this a worthwhile upgrade for a 5.1ghz all core 9900k. In total, I have 8 140 Phanteks fans throughout my case/radiators and all of them running at full speed are quieter than 1 Corsair fan at half speed, and that’s fact. The build quality is immaculate, the metal plates on the back of the fan and weight of the fans scream highest quality and long lifespan, my first set of fans are over a year old now and still quite as can be while running at full speed for pretty much the entire time I’ve had them. I’m a Phanteks fan for life, no pun intended.

These move a lot of air and are pretty quiet. I have them as intake on my corsair 540 air.My only complaint is that they have a bit of a click / whistle noise but it's only noticeable if you try to pick it out. it blends in pretty well with the rest of my fans.
