Key Features

  • The PH-F120MP, a high static pressure fan, has the ability to overcome the airflow restriction caused by high fin density. It produces high static air pressure allows a direct and focused airflow making them ideal for the densely packed fins of a radiator.. Air flow - 53.3 CFM. Noise level - 25.0 decibels
  • The PH-F120MP has a larger base size with a magnetic brushless DC motor to avoid the effects of resonance and for rotational stability. To create better structural strength, Phanteks redesigned the back frame of the PH-F120MP.
  • With the noise reduction challenges in mind, we modified the component for lower actuator noise, PCBA for lower electromagnetic noise, brushless motor structure for lower operating noise and frame rib for lower wind and vibration noise.
  • The nine high static pressure MVB blades are precisely angled to generate a focused controlled airflow. The blades produces a downdraft vortex allowing for greater amount of air passage through and reduce airflow turbulence across the surface of the blades
  • Eight pre-installed rubber pads are now bigger and designed to reduce more vibration.
  • UFB (Updraft Floating Balance) Bearing Composed by MOSS and SSC systems, Phanteks' UFB bearings have an effective hub-tip ratio to achieve a state of equilibrium reducing air and vibration noise.
  • SSC provides an increase in the bearing's lifespan and ensures that the fan's axis is consistently operational and quiet.

Mr Know it all
There may be something better out there for static pressure and noise level, but I haven't found them. They're like Frank's Red Hot...I put them on everything....as long as it's a radiator. Seriously quiet for the performance. I got a set of 140mm that are about 6 years old now and are on their second CPU cooler. Good as new.

These fans are constructed very well. There is practically zero frame-flex. The mounting corners are solid, but have a soft rubberized insert to prevent vibration noise. They have a minimalist aesthetic that matches most minimalist cases. They are quiet, but do move enough air to keep my server/htpc cool. The price-point is perfect.

I could barely hear it running. Works great. Keeping my computer cool.

I hadn't had this fan for 6 months before it started rattling at certain RPMs while gaming. I'm not certain exactly what RPM causes the rattle, but I bought this fan to replace my rattling Hyper 212 fan. Though this is very disappointing, the fan does a great job at moving air and staying quiet the rest of the time.
