Very impressive case - very deliberately designed, and obviously built with enthusiasts in mind. It's comparable to, if not better than the NZXT S340, but definitely beats it in price. The paint is solid and tough (a few errant screwdriver strikes didn't appear to scratch it), and much harder to mark up than the S340 satin black. The entire top of this case is "open" with only a wide metal grate of air holes. It can very easily handle large radiators and means the computer runs pretty cool. Front and top can handle 140 mm fans. The case itself is actually quite wide and can handle all but the most ridiculously oversized CPU air coolers. I'm using one of the taller coolers on the market (Coolermaster T2), which has a full 120mm fan mounted, and it still clears. I have a very, very large graphics card (Zotac 1070 AMP Extreme!) and it fits quite nicely with room to spare, both on width and length. It's easy to build in this case - tons of studs for zip-ties in cable routing, deliberate placement of every item, multi-functional fans and screw holes. I'm using a very standard 2x120 mm in push pull (similar to how they ship stock, which is basically the industry standard) and it's fast, cool, and clean. The cable routing is pretty simple, too - I routed my front fan cable behind the side panel. Again, it was incredibly easy to get almost no exposed cables on this case. Getting clean, linear airflow should be pretty easy. One thing that doesn't make sense to me is that the front panel is on the opposite side of the window, which means the power button, USB, and audio jacks will face away from the user (since obviously the window will face out). It would make far more sense to have the window and USB ports on the same side. Bummer, because the panel is well-built and designed, and theAnother observation is that of the two (admittedly, entry-level) fans that this case ships with, one is a red LED fan. I replaced this with a black non-lit fan lying around.
Too many hobbies
This case was specifically picked out for a no-frills, simple design for a spare PC that I was building. I picked up the non-window version on purpose because, there was nothing crazy that I needed people to see inside the case for. I also didn't want a gigantic mid-tower that took up too much real estate. Mid towers DO range in dramatically different sizes and how much space they take up.Full disclosure: I'm a corsair fan, I've built and own the 100R, 200R, & 300R cases along with other cases from Thermaltakes and Coolermaster that range from $50 - $200. Just to give you a little perspective in what I was expecting with this price point.Wow, was I surprised at the quality that I was getting with this case. It's a modern case and is heads and shoulders better than my 100R & 200R. I daresay, it may even be better than my 300R. I almost wished I used this case on my main PC instead. I'm a fan of clean simple lines and this case did all of that with aplomb. Additionally, it's got areas for your 2.5" hard drives on the back of the motherboard tray and the power supply had a shroud covering. Thus, you can get very clean cable management and hide them (and your hard drives) behind your motherboard tray. That results in extremely tidy and a clean look in your case and plenty of room for airflow. My build went very smoothly with no issues when it came to having a place inside the case. That's what I really want in a case besides the look etc. Please note, the front AV/usb and power buttons are located on the front/right side wall. It's a bit unusual placement but it was fine for my needs. Keep that in mind if your desk setup has a specific configuration that you're looking for.I'm already planning on getting the windowed version and build in this case the next time I want to change things up on my main PC.Cheers!

*****Update***** 5/26/2018Corsair Carbide Series 270R - Mid-Tower ATX Case, Windowed Cases CC-9011105-WWOk, just wanted to update my review.I have had this case since OCT 2017 and have not any major problems. This was my first entry level case that I used for my first build, and at the time I really loved it and enjoyed using it. But over time I have developed a lot of gripes about this case. This by no means is a bad case. I just outgrew the case and wished that I would have gotten a different one that would have grown with me. I am going to keep this nice and simple but I want to add a neutral point to the pros and cons.PROS:CheapSolid build qualityReputable brandDecent amount space for various cooling options from the front to the top of the casePSU shroudGood cable managementSimple/minimalistic design.Thumb screws galore.NEUTRAL:(2) SSD mounting points.(2) HDD mounting points. For me this was one of the biggest turning points for me. As I grew, I need more space for storage and had to resort to using a Wavlink Dual HDD Docking Station to use more drives.Air flow is ok due to the open design but it hurts itself due to the front panel.Windowed side panel. Bad part is that it is acrylic.CONS:Front panel air flow is depended on two slivers of meshed vent on each side. Approx: 16.5”x.5” left side and 9.5”x.5” right side.Front I/O is on the top right side of the case. To most this is not an issue, but for me I would have liked it on top of the front panel or on the front face panel. To me this made it an issue because most users have their towers to the right side of the desk. This is inconvenient because you now have to physically look to turn the tower on.There is no top or front case fan dust filter. The only one is on the bottom for the PSU.No rubber grommets for cable routing.Front of the PSU has a lot of wasted space if you are not water cooling, this could have been room for expandable storage. Conclusion:This is a great beginner case for anyone who want to have a simple build and not worrying about expanding too quickly like I did. Just be aware that most of my CONS/NEUTRALS are the reason why this case is a entry level case and why it is so cheap. At the end of the day this is a bare bones case with no frills and it gets the job done. I would recommend this case to anyone who fall in this category.*****Update*****I want to add on the lack of top and front case filters. Also sent a message to Corsair to see if they are making aftermarket filters for both the top and front. Currently their is no aftermarket filters on their website and I have not found any third parties making yet.*****Original*****Great tower to built in for a beginner PC builder. The cable management is great in this case. I just wish the front io was on the other side of the case so that i dont have to stand up and reach around cause i have the window facing forward. but that is just my opinion.
