I went from a Corsair 570x to the Cougar Conquer because I have a custom loop water cooled system and the Corsair case has terrible airflow, so bad I usually removed the glass and screens to keep temps from climbing. I want quiet and cool, not the easiest combo so I needed a new case. The Conquer is practically an open air case with no filters so keep that in mind if you have dust, dirt or pet hair problems. I have a very clean room, and only blow out the radiators 1-2 times a month whether it needs it or not.Likes—Looks very impressive in person. Solid thick aluminum, glass has slight tint and does not block airflow. Supports 5 fans at 120mm each. You can install 2 radiators without a problem., 360 on top and 240 in front. With the glass off the chassis is wide open and super easy to work inside.Dislikes—only 2 spots for hard drives, the back of the motherboard has spots for 2 drives, but you must install before the motherboard. If your drive fails, you must remove the motherboard to remove the drives. The bracket for additional drives sits behind the front fans and blocks almost all airflow, there’s a ton of unused space and placement for the HDD is obviously an after thought. Could have designed some mount cages or slotted adapters like almost every other premium case has...but no. $250 for a case that only comes with 3 fans and 3 grills so you’ll want to buy 2 more and make sure they match because you can see all of them from every angle. You will probably need an extension for the power supply, the motherboard is angled and the power supply is near the front so it’s a far stretch to the top of the motherboard and my Corsair Rm1000 was too short to reach. The case is heavy on the back of the motherboard side if you install 3.5” hard drives and place on carpet it tilts right. The case is not stable without the glass installed, the aluminum is thick but flexible. After almost 3 weeks I am extremely happy with the case despite its flaws. It kept my system cooler than the Corsair 570x and looks impressive. I can see enormous modding potential, and although I would have designed areas or mounts a little different I really love the case.

For those who are planning to build your new PC on this case, PLEASE make sure that ALL of your cables are at least 10-15 inches or longer. Or else, you will have trouble building this PC.So overall, this PC case looks awesome. This was my dream case that i've always wanted. Built my 1st PC on a Thermaltake P1 and now i've moved on to this beast. The beginning of my build was awesome at first until......I've noticed that my PSU cables CANNOT reach my motherboard!! It turns out that my PSU (Thermaltake Bronze 750w) is designed for cases that places PSU's on the left side. Yet, for this case, PSU is located at the right (or near mid of the case). What's also strange is that if I securely install this PSU into the case properly as the case design intended, my PSU HAS TO BE UPSIDE DOWN!! WHAT?!?!! This made me so confused. So, I went for it and unfortunately, my PSU cables still couldn't reach my MB!Lol so now, in order to make my cables reach my MB, I literally have to make my PSU loose and now my PSU is currently not secured at the case... hahahha. Right now it's a huge mess and I even don't have the motivation to do any cable management whatsoever.Overall, i'm not too happy with my new current build. I've also ordered custom RGB parts for this case and unfortunately they won't arrive until next month.Learn from my mistakes and make sure your PSU will be able to fit on this case properly and not freaking upside down.. and make sure your PSU cables are long enough to reach your MB. I've never thought this would be an issue but again this is my only 2nd time building a PC.I will be updating this review later on once all my new RGB parts and new (and long!) PSU cables arrive. Other than that, I really love the build quality of this PC. It's very sturdy once you install the glass panels. The packaging is nice and loved how organized is it when you open it.I would still recommend this case but just make sure you have the right measurements/design for all your cables and PSU.UPDATE: After 2 weeks of continuing upgrade my PC, it's finally done and overall, i'm pretty happy. The only downfall is that my PSU is still upside down but eventually i'm going to upgrade my PSU for the RTX 3000 soon.As for my PSU issues, I've recent purchased myself PSU extenders (RGB) and it really gave my PC a full Rave concert hahaha. Tons of RGB which I love. Finally able to reach my motherboard and GPU!Overall, very happy that my PC looks fantastic and cables are well organized. Once again for those who are interested in buying this case, make sure your PSU is capable of fitting in this case (the right way) correctly unless you are down to deal with a upside down PSU which I am not atm. I also recommend buying PSU extenders because my standard PSU cables couldn't reach my motherboard... so I went full RGB! XDBest case ever imo. Thank you Cougar for making this beast case!

The case looks like you want it to look, like a beast. It’s a pricey case but.. buy once, cry once... the case has both sides glass so I hope you cable management is good looking for both sides, no hiding them in here. You will have to get an extra cpu extension cord because of the angle of the motherboard. The cpu cord will connect over the top of the motherboard but not behind it unless you get that extension. The case is very open so I would make all the fans intake. The case is huge so make sure you have space. And it’s all metal and glass no plastic parts so it’s super heavy. The metal is that scratchy feel to it..it’s like sand paper when you screw on the pieces. You might want to change the fans if you want a different color than red lights. The orange pieces is cool but I wish the had black but you can take it off and paint it. Great case and it will last for future builds.

Love the case, but they could have had 2.5 SSD, HDD mounts in the back or bottom instead of in the middle. The location of the storage mount, blocks airflow from the front intake fans to the motherboard. Motherboard is away from air flow in the back so I'm not sure what the fans are cooling anyway. The look of the case is amazing but not worth full price. There isn't a mount for a reservoir pump combo, but i've seen it strapped to the front on one build(ugh). Instructions had low quality black/white photos, so seeing what had to be installed/where was difficult. With the drawbacks, I still love the case.
