This case is literally the perfect case for turning a server into a desktop. I bought an HP Z800 motherboard that only fits this aftermarket case. The stock ones are pretty hard to come by but lemme get into this. The case is a monster. More than enough room and perfect to take a workstation motherboard and still have more than enough room for hard drives graphics cards and fans and especially water coolers both AIO and custom set ups. The features are really super nice like the top vents when closed turn off the fans in the upper portion of the case witch makes perfect sense then turn back on to your settings when the vent is opened back up.There were some slight problems I ran into that was not a problem if the case more of just HP being HP. I had to drill holes for the standoffs to be able to secure the motherboard in there and it hurt to drill into a $300 case but for a motherboard of this type and size I had no other options and I don't regret it at all!Another thing is this case is VERY heavy. It's made from strong materials and stands its ground from being moved around alot and it definitely gets heavier as you fill up the case. I have not even added hard drives to my new build and it's already pretty hard to move around. The filters are a great touch however the bottom filter is pretty easy to have come loose and stick out. Maybe there is a latch I haven't found yet but you sometimes gotta pay attention to where it's atThe noise from the case is pretty quiet esp given their size and the airflow is pretty strong. Now I have a server motherboard in there and I dont care much for noise anyways but it's pretty impressive how quiet it actually is.This case also comes with a ton of accessories, plugs, screws of every kind even floppy drive screws! The hard drive bays are easy to take out and put back with no issues and the CD drive bays are just as easy, you simply pull a switch and it releases the pins and you can slide your drives in and out of the front if the case as much as you please. The case also comes with an extra CPU power extension cord and an extra ATX 24pin (might be wrong on the number) cord witch was freaking awesome since to power my motherboard I needed a special adapter and where the plug ended up I needed the extension witch is pretty good quality too!Overall if I were to do another build like this again I'd definitely purchase this case again as it really did surprise me that for $300 you do get amazing quality and reliability. I was skeptical since this is amazon and I could not find the case for sale anywhere else on the web and I'm very pleased!

First let me say that this case is getting 4 and not 5 stars because I had to order the window side panel separate for the black edition, however I was able to do that quickly through the Nanoxiausa.com support team. It was an extra $30 US.TL;DR:Pros:Super quietLots of roomBuilt in dust filterslots of build optionsEpic supportCons:Almost to big for factory PSU CPU cablesSome hard to reach screwsClips that hold fan bays and top I/O closed can be easy to jam upBottom filter is removed from backside panel is only directly offered on the white version of the caseNow to review the case itself.Installing components into the system:Case is huge so much so the my X79 ATX-E looks small, this gives the case a lot of room for things like water cooling and modding. The system I transferred into this case uses a EVGA power supply and the 75mm 8 pin CPU cable that come with the psu does reach well but the SATA power cables can not reach the CD drive bays if they are ran into the back first. I did have to replace all of the SATA data cables that I was using in a full tower (CM HAF932) due to them being to short. The added space for the HTPX boards leaves an opening where the second CPU would be installed and can be seen through the window. Once I got over the size and weight of the case I started taking out the removable 3X HDD bay to make room for a bottom intake fan and moved the 2 pre-installed 140 mm fans from the top to the front radiator bracket. To take out the bracket to install the fans you have to remove the 3X HDD bay, to remove the drive bay you have to remove the bottom dust filter which is removed from the back. The bottom filter does slide out very easily and I broke mine by tipping the case to get the water cooling loop primed. After taking off the doors and removing the 3X HDD bay the case does become a little flexible and even more so when the top and front covers are removed to install any top mounted fans or radiators. With the front drive bay the quick locks that are installed worked great with my blue ray drive but the 2X drive bay style reservoir with pump seems to heavy and sits angled while the hot swap bay I have wiggles due to its anti vibration design, these clips are removable and cover full mounting holes.Running:once every thing is in the case and its got both side panels are on the case is very solid though super heavy. When turned on the power button lights up for both power and HDD status.Installed system runs at about 50c when the top chimney is closed and 38 when open. The sound level with the chimney open with 3 older Cooler Master JetFlo 120 is noticeable with the speed sliders at max but sounds like a white noise device. When you close the chimney however the sound is just gone I have the 5 fans it comes with setup with 2 intake 2 that pull it through the drive bays and one exhaust as well as a Corsair Air Series AF140 intake on the bottom, with all 6 running at max the static air purifier in the room makes more noise. The filters seem to be working very well, I have not found any dust of pet hair in the case yet.Overall:Would I buy this case again? yes and have plans to get a second DS6 for my in home server and a DS1 for a family used computer.I would only recommend this case if you plan to have a lot of hard drive or water cooling need the Deep Silence 1 would be a better fit for most builders as it has the same features in a smaller form factor.I will also note that I did have to contact support about this case but they were very helpful and quick to respond.
