Great case, perfect size and excellent build quality. Bought this case to downsize from a Coolermaster HAF X. Cable routing is excellent on this case and the build was made super easy with the already installed velcro ties. Considering this case is much smaller than the HAF X i had before it is just as easy to build and much easier to hide the cables. The 3 fan speed controller integrated in the top works well, I have 2 fans mounted in the front and 1 in the back connected to the controller (it can accommodate 3 fans) The rear included Phanteks fan has a very long cable, installing an aftermarket fan in the back of the case required some creative cable management in order to connect it to the fan controller.I also purchased with the Phanteks LED strip which changes color with the front LED lighting via the button under the front lip. I would highly recommend this addition as it adds quite a bit to the aesthetic. Note on the LED strip is that it is slightly too long to be hidden well, but can be cut at certain intervals without damaging the strip. Phanteks Multi-Color LED Strips 1 Meter Enthoo Luxe Case Upgrade (PH-LEDKT_M1)A note to SLI or Crossfire users. I am running an i7 4790 and 2 AMD R9 280X cards in crossfire and this case cannot handle the thermal load even with upgraded higher CFM fans. Running any game caused all of the fans to ramp up to 100% including the power supply and i even had the machine overheat and shutdown while playing Far Cry 4 after about 30 minutes. I removed one of the R9's and everything was just fine. Another thing to note is very large power supplies will require you to remove the lower HDD cage as the cables simply wont fit.

ATX Mid Tower cases in this price range are a difficult choice. So many good options that are just slightly different than each other. Choosing features & styling is a matter of preference, so everyone has to figure that out for themselves. But I can say that the construction quality is great, cable management was easy and produced very tidy results that are easy to redo or modify later with future changes. The silent treatment on the no window case is great and I think the solid front panel helps a lot with blocking fan noise. Top I/O is convenient and I like that the Reset switch is hidden under the top front lip instead of being close to the power switch. The power switch! Nice positive feel, large & easy to reach. The RGB LED glow is a nice touch if you like that stuff. I certainly do now that I have it.

There are plenty reviews out there, so this is just to serve as a direct consumer review with my minor annoyances about the case. My previous case was the CM Storm Enforcer, and my God... this is miles better. Easy to build in, decent dust filter solution, and super quiet! You also get the benefit of having a fan controller and a LED controller. I'll be talking on the things that warranted a -1 star from a perfect 5-star rating.Just in case you didn't know, you can have 3 different effects with the LEDs. The first effect is a solid color. The second effect is a breathing effect, and the third effect is for it to cycle to the different colors with a blending effect. It can be changed by holding the LED button for 3 seconds. To turn off the LEDs, you would need to hold the LED button for 10 seconds. Speaking of the LEDs, it's extremely bright. And if you purchase the Phanteks LED addon, man it gets even brighter. I really wish Phanteks had a dimmer for the LEDs, but it's a minor point. The fan controller has 3 settings: low, medium, high. It supports 3 fans out of the box, however you can use 3-pin Y splitters to add extra fans if needed. One thing that annoyed me with the process of building is that one of the wires connecting the fan controller to the actual 3-pin connector came loose, which caused the fans to not work. I had to tape the wire into its connector, so it's an easy fix if that happens to you.The acrylic window is easy to scratch apparently, as I had a small scratch on it (which I don't know how I scratched it), but it's to be expected with a cheap price for the case.Compared to my CM Storm Enforcer, temps definitely did increase. I need to put the fan controller on its highest setting to have comparable temps to my previous case during gaming. However, the magic comes when the fan controller is on the lowest settings while your doing normal work on your computer, it's very quiet! Finally! My previous case sounded like a jet engine with its open design.Another point of annoyance is that the included top fan covers is not the same finish as the case. I ordered the white case (that has a shiny, polished white finish), and the included covers were a white matte finish. It does slightly annoy me why Phanteks would do that, but I imagine it's to cut corners and increase cost savings.There. That's it. That is all the complaints I have about the case. I don't use water cooling for my current build so fitting a radiator was not an issue for me (from what I've seen, you can only mount the radiator in the front of the case, not the top). With the ease of the build process, the sturdiness of the finished build, its quietness while on the lowest fan settings, and the extra value from the LED and fan controller: the Phanteks P400S is your best case for your money. After my minor gripes, it deserves a 4 star rating from me. However if my minor gripes mentioned is not important to you, then it'll be a 5-star product.
