I bought this case to build my wife a new desktop for graphics design and general computing. AMD with 8 cores, 32gb ram, 4GB gddr5 video, 512GB M.2SSD and a couple of 1TB SSD drives for local storage. This is a very big case; roomy and easy to install components. The glass is black or smoked and all hardened for durability. The external fasteners use rubber bushings to protect the glass. Still, it will take a little time and effort to get everything in place and looking like you want it. I have installed a dual 90mm fan water cooler unit for the CPU, which is beautifully designed to fit in the top, with hot air exhausting, where it belongs. There are dual 140mm front intake fans, that are RGB lit and centrally controlled. The power supply uses an intake from the bottom and forthoughtfully, the case has a filter in place to protect the power supply components. It cleanly fits the Asus ATX motherboard I selected. Given the motherboards placement of the heat sinks, it initially made it challenging to install the water cooling, but I fiddled them in after a few more tries. The case's standoffs (LOTS of screws and fasteners were included) for the motherboard all lined up and were exactly on center for the motherboard. The video board and accessory boards lined up perfectly.Yes, it's expensive, but it's a quality piece and will last for a long time.I hope you enjoy yours (if you buy one) as much as my wife does hers.

I absolutely love this case. Easy to manage cables, easy to work with, beautiful design! I love that there are no optical drives, as I don't need them. So much room for liquid cooling, I am overclocking an i5 7700k at 5.2GHz with a GTX 1080 ti 11GB and 32 GB TridentZ RAM and whewww does that window show it off nicely!I also love the cable management side. I have 4 hard drives and an M.2 SSD boot drive and you look in the case and go "where are they all?!"The case is HEAVY, and WIDE. I love it, some people might not. (I think 23lbs?)There are two CONS you should be aware of before buying this case:1. IF you decide to use the vertical GPU mount (optional) then you should do some research on PCI-E Riser Cables. The Thermaltake brand riser cables are crap, but there are good ones on the market. HOWEVER, even with research, the first cable I picked had to bend in such a way that it was almost impossible. Benchmark tests show you'll even lose a negligible, but still a measurable loss in frames per second. (We're talking 1-3 fps from what I've seen on YouTube) -- However, just mount it the regular way and you're good to go, it still looks amazing, there's nothing you can't see.2. The glass in the front is darker than the side panels, which gives it a nice sleek look, BUT the Riing fans don't POP as much as it looks like they do in the photo.LAST NOTE: This case has a lower rating than it should because a lot of people are complaining that the version that comes with two RGB fans don't light up in the way the photo shows. I understand that is frustrating. But they're fans. I'm reviewing the case.

Posting this here since I got done talking with Thermaltake directly on an issue with a damaged front mini-board for the audio jack and such. They no longer manufacture the Thermaltake View 31 case and have no parts available for replacement. So if anyone needs to get a replacement panel for the front they will have to buy an entirely new Thermaltake View 31.I'm really hoping for future PC cases to have replaceable panels. This is actually a pretty trivial thing to fix.

Pros:The looks. This case is beautiful to look at with the tempered glass, front acrylic plate, and LED fans.Lots of space. This case was much more pleasant to work in than my previous case (Cougar Solution V1). The increased space gives more room for my graphics cards to intake and exhaust air more effectively and gives steady airflow with proper fan placement. The HDD cage can be removed and the drive caddies can be mounted behind the motherboard, giving better airflow through the case and (in my opinion) makes the case look cleaner. The included fans are pretty good, outputting more air much more quietly than my previous fans, and the blue of the non-RGB versions are the perfect shade of blue for my rig.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Cons:My biggest gripe about the case is the fan support. The front can accept 3X120mm, 2X140mm, or 1X200mm fans as intake, while the top accepts 3X120mm, 3x140mm, or 2X200mm as exhaust. If you want to use the maximum allowable area for fans to maximize airflow you'll end up with negative air pressure in the case, which is not ideal because it doesn't properly remove heat and pulls dust in through unfiltered gaps. This could have been fixed by increasing the height of the case by 5-10 mm, which would have allowed the front of the case to have the same fan support as the top, and support neutral/positive airflow, which is what's recommended. The extra height would have also given more room above the motherboard to better accommodate a top radiator. The radiator/fan configuration I was hoping to implement was to have a 280mm radiator + 1X140mm fan on the front for intake, 360mm rad on the top for exhaust, 1X140mm rear exhaust fan, and 2X120mm intake fans on the bottom. Unfortunately the case doesn't support this setup and I'll have to either modify the case or come up with a different configuration that will fit.Another issue is that the bottom of the case only support 2X140mm fans if you have a short power supply. I have a EVGA SuperNova G2, and I can only fit a 2X120mm or 1X120mm and 1X140mm, making it harder to balance out the airflow problems above with bottom mounted fans. While both the top and front support 360mm radiators, it will not fit them at the same time. If you put a 360mm on one, you can only fit a 280mm rad on the other. I also had to ask this question 3 times on the store page to get a proper answer from the manufacturer (all the other times they just posted the support specs which wasn't sufficient. The manufacturer/store representatives need to start reading the questions asked more carefully before answering). The gap above the motherboard to route the CPU power cable is large enough, but just barely. Opening it up a couple millimeters more would have been great. The motherboard stands are just slightly too close to the back of the case causing the PCIe slot covers to get wedged between the motherboard and case, making them very difficult to remove to install my two graphics cards.Shifting them by 0.5-1mm to the front of the case would have fixed this. The acrylic front panel is tinted a little too dark. It still looks good, and is about what I expected to see after reading previous feedback saying the same issue. You can see your LED fans through it, but it's not going to be glowing enough to illuminate the surrounding walls. No PCIe extension included to allow the customer to use the vertical graphics card mount out of the box. It needs to be purchased separately. No included PSU shroud, but for $100 that's reasonable to exclude.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Overall, I really like this case. My biggest complaints are just small issues (although they wouldn't have cost much more in manufacturing to have fixed before production; maybe they could get their QA department to be a little more nit-picky), but once your system is fully built you won't have issues with them. I'm only highlighting these concerns so that you all plan your builds better. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this case.
