    I'm using this with an fx8320 on an m5a99fx pro r2.0 motherboard, and it's absolutely fantastic. Only way I'd see cooler temps would be with a custom loop. I get 41c under heavy load after hours of gaming, and it's whisper quiet at idle and barely noticeable under load. It is a huge cooler, so make sure it will fit before you order one, I just barely managed to clear my ram after re-positioning one of the fans.
