Dark Rock TFPraise- This things is beautiful. 4790K at 1.17 volts gets me a cool 64 degrees stress test max in a tiny Ncase M1 with Asrock Z97 E-Itx motherboard at 75 percent fan speed. Only barely audible at 75 percent fan speed in my all aluminum, tiny, open ventilation on all sides, case. In a standard case, probably inaudible at this level. I CAN HEAR MY HARD DRIVE OVER THE FANS AT 60 PERCENT FAN SPEED. I can hear my power supply at idle, not the power supply fan, the actual capacitors and such manage the electricity. I was getting only two degrees better with an H105 Liquid Cooler from Corsair, which was louder at idle by a long shot due to the pump. Not Praise - Mounting system in my case was AW-FUL. I bet it would not be too bad in a larger case, even a larger ITX case, but it was not fun for me at all. I had to remove the heat spreaders on my RAM as the heatpipes were making contact and pushing the RAM over a bit. Not the biggest issue though as the cooler completely covers the dimms anyway.PS: I did not know how to mount fans using the metal clips that came with the cooler, I put them on backwards and broke a couple in my hand trying to install them (I can be a bit of a neanderthal at times). I contacted bequiet! and they sent me new clips! Very happy with the support.

Be Quiet is quite quiet but i'll say it out loud.... this cooler is amazing. my previous rig has a cosair aio water cooler so i decided to go with an air cooler and see if there's a difference in sound, temp, etc. Let me say, this cooler does not disappoint. With full load, cpu reaches 60-65 max. I haven't seen it hit 75 degrees C yet. AND, on top of that, it is quiet.Installation was quite difficult because there wasn't much tutorials on youtube at the time of installing this but the videos that were there was okay. It was enough info to get it completed. I had a hard time installing the fan brackets onto the fins of the cooler.Looks very bulky when in the system. If you have RGB and care how everything looks, i wouldn't recommend this because it'll block your view of the memory sticks and anything else around it. Also in picture, there's not much room between memory stick and cooler.Overall, great product. Will buy again if i do a different build and i Highly recommend this product. 5 STAR!-cooler was installed inside of Phanteks p600s case.

First off, here are my specs with using this Dark Rock TF since I see most reviews talk about the dark rock 4 or others:Gigabyte b450m ds3h motherboardCORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (8gbx2)RAMNzxt h510 caseOn top of a ryzen 2700xSo there are my specs to see if you can relate. Does it fit? Yeah but barely. My main concern was the ram and it seems like it is resting on one of the sticks in the second slot. The bottom fan runs without hitting the ram but it looks really close. When I first installed there was a noise after I powered it on for the first time, like the fans were hitting something or they weren't on the vibration pads correctly. Still dont know what the problem quite was but I jiggled the cooler around a bit, made sure the top fan was on the pads and the noise stopped. However sometimes I think I hear the noise again randomly. So here is another weird thing. It seems like I get a little bit higher idle temps than the stock wraith prism cooler but my temps while gaming went from around 80 degrees Celsius to a little over 65 degrees Celsius. I think the wraith cooler had 32 to 40 idle temps but with this I get 37 to 45 idle temps.Overall, weird experience. I was paranoid if this would fit and it barely does. I was paranoid about installing it but eventually did and a little of the included thermal paste got on the motherboard which I cleaned right away. The idle temps seems a little higher but the gaming temps are definitely cooler. Oh and the fans at full speed are much less noisier than the stock wraith cooler. I recommend it if you want a new air cooler. Only tough part of the install was getting the cooler with thermal paste on it to fit into the 4 screws from the mounting bracket without getting the paste every where. Didnt need to remove the motherboard but I'm sure it could help see things better.

This is a tank of a cooler. I used be quiet's website to match my new mother board and CPU to their coolers and it recommended the Dark Rock TF. I think the other Dark Rock models would have interfered with the memory on my mother board and even the TF is tight. As others have mentioned it's not exactly the easiest to installation. Having read the reviews I searched for online install videos and found a number. Watched them and when the TF showed up I was pretty well prepared and knew what to do. Doing by myself was a bit tricky but it's up and running and keeping my processor cool. Idle is about 35-37C which is not low but well below the nominal operating temperature for my i7 8700. Underload playing a game it so far has gotten only up to 46C. All that aside it really looks nice in my new basically all black build.
