Beautiful design, great colors, works great but I could not install this on my motherboard. I did read that the lower profile might conflict with tall memory on certain motherboards, and they were right. Could not use this on my newer motherboard with the Corsair RGB ram. Just wouldn’t fit but I replaced my older intel CPU cooler on my work machine and it looks great! Quite, colorful and cools nicely.Make sure the memory clearances and placement do not conflict with the cooler. Pay attention to the dimensions. Still gave it a 5.

So far this thing works and looks great! The lights work well, and the fan makes no noise. It’s on an i3-10100 so the cpu doesn’t generate much heat anyways, but it has yet to exceed 55C with this cooler on it. Been gaming at 1080p with most games hitting 70-100fps. This cooler is working quite nicely. I would be curious to see how it does on a more powerful cpu though. It was pretty easy to install, it comes with a special tool to tighten it down which is cool cause the shape makes it hard to get to the screws otherwise.

As for the installation on my 1151 mobo, It was a serious pain. I'm immensely lucky to have tiny hands. The cooler is absolutely massive, which is what I was hoping for, but it makes the installation process very challenging. It's not that the instructions aren't clear — they are very clear — but the issue is that the cooler blocks access to the screws that you need to tighten to properly secure it to the motherboard. People have suggested you take the motherboard out and install it like that, but for many, such as myself, that will not work. The design and layout of my motherboard conflicts with the enormous size of this cooler. In my case, I need to install the ram before this cpu cooler because this cooler towers over the ram slots and makes it impossible to install the ram afterwards. As well as that, because of the circumstances of my power supply and it's cables, I need to organize them in a certain way to accommodate this cooler. You need to consider a lot of things before installing this cooler. That all being said, I consider this cooler to be the centerpiece of my PC's appearance. It's massive, which I actually like, you can change the colors to either be static or to be a total light show, and it is the first thing someone will see when they walk into your room. I's bright enough to illuminate all of the surrounding components. The appearance alone is the selling point for me. It looks very, very pretty. The function of the cooler does as advertised. It cools efficiently. You will not have to worry about your cpu overheating with this. My cpu is totally able to manage high-stress gaming situations with no problem whatsoever. (intel core i7 6700 3.4ghz)The noise is audible and may bother some, but I can't stand total silence and question the sanity of anyone who can. It's quiet by my standards and I can't hear it through my headphones.4 stars because of the immensely difficult and impractical install due to the geometry of the cooler. This cooler simply isn't accessible for a large portion of builds. It just will not fit with certain layouts. That being said, because I know it fits quite snugly in my layout, I love this cooler and it's easily worth the hassle of installation. I would buy it again!

I gifted my old gaming rig to my kiddos for Christmas. I upgraded a few of the components, and the case to a more modern cube style... but unfortunately it wasn't deep enough to reuse my old tower cpu cooler. That's when I came across this little beauty while hunting for a low profile cooler to fit the case. Its unique design and rgb flair was the perfect fit for the build; not to mention the price. That being said I didn't have a lot of faith that it would produce adequate thermals for my old fx8350. I couldn't be happier to have been wrong. I have it overclocked to 4.8 ghz and it hasn't gone over 56c no matter what game I've thrown at it. So if space is an issue, and you've been on the fence about purchasing this cooler... pull the trigger, and scoop it up.*** I didn't use the thermal paste packaged with the cooler. Could be okay stuff, but its been my experience that the thermal paste that comes with cpu coolers is usually garbage. ***
