Let me start off by saying reviews should be REMOVED for removing stars because they bought the wrong product, broke it during installation, are too dumb to install it themselves, etc. I'm no IT master, but it couldn't have been easier to install this amazing cpu cooler. The instructions included are easy to read, include pictures, and leave no questions. After 10 minutes this product went from the box to fully installed and plugged into the motherboard. The two fans are connected and run on a single CPU fan connection; don't worry about having enough fan connectors on your mobo. The LEDs are a nice red (see the photo), and it would've been nice if they were available in green/blue but I don't really care. You get what you pay for here; a massive, effective CPU cooler with bright red lights. And I am not exaggerating when I say massive. Altogether it weighs 1350g, with dimensions of 135 x 145 x 172 mm. The two fans included are 140mm, with brackets for bigger sized fans included (which you should never really need, I've never had a CPU cooler run this cool). Even comes with translucent & matte black aluminum front plates, which is nice. The packaging is wonderful, the price is not bad, the product is top-notch, and my cpu is shivering.Again, check the dimensions before you assume it'll fit in your case. My case in the picture is an NZXT Phantom. Great product! Cooler Master never fails to impress.

I already had my share of PC cooling installations, so I can understand one may have some trouble putting a cooler like the MasterAir Maker to work. It's not that easy. But it is intuitive, like PC hardware in general. There's no room to things being put in wrong places, all you need is patience and observation. The user manual isn't of the friendliest ones, but explains the procedures well enough, keep your eyes on it and things will be fine. I just want to give some extra advices that you won't find in the manual:- Make sure the motherboard's still outside the case. It's practically impossible to install this cooler with your hands inside any existent case, this thing is HUGE.- Yes, you must remove the fans before install, there's no other way around. They're very easy to remove, though.- If your RAM is not one of those very low Ballistix sticks, you'll have to keep one of the fans slightly above the regular fit. Make sure you hear a clicking sound when leveling up the fan or there'll be a lot of noise when you turn everything on because the fan isn't properly fit.Following a - hopefully - not too painful process, the results will be rewarding. The MasterAir Maker 8 is very silent and efficient, keeping my overclocked 8600k always below 70 Celsius with all cores working 100% in my very hot city. Technically and aesthetically superior than the V8 GTS, I can't recommend it enough for everyone who's looking for the best air-cooled solution for your gaming PC/workstation.

Great cpu cooling system no problems there, works fine was a tight fit on my case but that was mentioned in the product description, one thing that was not mention was the fact that few(if any) 140mm fans will work with this cpu cooler, they would have to be round(except where the screws go) and some 140mm fans do not have that, my case and case fans being green naturally I wanted green fans, so I went and ordered two: BitFenix BFF-BLF-14025G-RP Spectre 140mm LED Case Fan, Green thinking I could replace the stock fans with these. WRONG the product description failed to mention that only certain 140mm fans work(one that are round minus the screw areas and even then I'm sure not all would work with it(even round ones). Make sure that your 140mm fans will work with it(I have no idea if you can ever know beforehand) in general just get 120mm fans(even square ones) as those will work just fine.note: upon contacting amazon by phone I was able to a full refund for the fans(though there was nothing wrong with them just this products description)

This is a great cooler, good performance and nice looking, and in my case very silent even at max fan speed.I'm using it to cool an FX9590 undervolted, I do not recommend this but, In a well ventilated case this cooler is enough for gaming and light video conversion, but for heavier workloads it could reach some uncomfortable temps. The leds on top look very good, even is a closed case, were these are bright enough to be seen from the front grill, even with blue case fans the result is very cool due to the contrast of colors. mine came with some of the top leds off, no biggie tho.I switched from a Hyper 612 to this and its actually smaller and easier to work with, that the 612.Its not the best performer for the price, but if you are happy with the looks I see no reason to hold back
