Christian
Was a little difficult to put together on an amd board because i wasn't aware i needed to remove something from the back of the board and change it out for something else , then put this together. I usually do my cpu last when building a computer , but had to do it first and didn't realize it until after i was completely done. Works great, and instructions weren't the most clear but once you get it you got it. Had 0 problems with it .

The contact surface is not flat on the unit that I received, which resulted in poor contact with the CPU lid. After disassembling it back, it was evident by the amount of the thermal grease that the surface was rounded in the across-the-pipes direction. Checking with a ruler confirmed it.The mounting surface is very rough, too, much more so than on other coolers.Running stress tests, the temps went up to 85+C running Prime05 + Furmark at ~120W package power consumption. All in all, this didn't work out for stock Core i7-7700.Wouldn't recommend because of potential poor quality control.

Massive pain to install, very unclear instructions, takes so long on how to mount that it dripped thermal paste all over the motherboard. Good once inside the pc and keeps components very cool though.
