My original cooling fan failed and needed to replace quickly. This cpu heat sink and fan was inexpensive and adequate for what I needed at least till I received a replacement for my original under warranty. This unit arrived quickly and fit perfectly. It works great and keeps my cpu running cool. I would recommend this for anyone that needs an inexpensive cooler and does not over clock. For those who push their cpu to the limit I would recommend going with a larger heat sink or liquid cooling. Using it as I write this and intend to use it even though I have received my warranty replacement. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

I bought this one to replace my old fan. You can barely hear the fan and it keeps my cpu nice and cool. It was very easy to install. Just remove the old one clean any old thermal paste off then put the new one in and plug it in. There was thermal paste preapplied to the heat sink

I am running my CPU never goes past 44 degrees . Overall great price if had more money would buy more.Only con was it is a little hard to install after 5 minutes had pc up and running. Its been hot lately where I live so I can't complain about the temperatures. Worth buying , a lot better than stock AMD fan. I hate applying thermal paste and this comes with it already installed so I just throw my cpu fan out and buy new one.

Pros: SmallCons: Computer will not stay running, shuts down with temps in the 70-80 deg C range after less then a minute of idle time.Bought this due to my love of the 212+ and my wife didn't want such an outrageously large cooler. Better of running no heat sink. Has no copper to get heat away.
