This cooler is astounding. I have used several different brands of coolers and this is by far the best all-around air cooler I have ever owned. Quiet, powerful, beautiful and amazingly easy to install are all ways one could describe the Cryorig H5 Ultimate.Pros: - A breeze to install. The mounting kit on this is absolutely brilliant. Every cooler should be like this. Took me 30 minutes from opening the box until turning on the computer to test it. - Cools very effectively. Currently running an FX-8350 at stock with 27°C idle and 52°C load. Very impressive numbers for an air cooler, and even more so for a sub-$50 unit. It gets even better when you factor in the low noise level. - Quiet, as previously stated. Quieter than either the cheaper Hyper 212 Evo or the more expensive Noctua NH-D14. At least in my experience. Not quite as quiet as the Dark Rock 3, but better performing. - Comes with everything you need for install, including very good thermal paste and a special screwdriver.Cons: - Size, this thing is big. 160mm tall and very wide, on a standard ATX motherboard and in the standard set up (fan on right facing front of case in a push configuration) the fan hangs over the first DIMM slot. You can adjust the height of the fan, but this increases the height of the unit up to just under 170mm and still only allows for a RAM stick up to 35mm tall. Either make sure your RAM is short enough or don't use the first DIMM slot. In addition, make sure your case has a clearance of AT LEAST 160mm, 170 if you need the first DIMM slot.Overall, the best single-tower air cooler I've ever owned, hands down.

Pros:+ Price: Affordable price compare to Noctua+ Quality: All parts are very well made+ Design: I love the looks of it, it suits my theme (black and white) very well.+ Performance: Keep my i7 7700K @ 4.2GHz idle at 28C, game at 61C. Then I overclocked my i7 7700K to 4.7GHz, it still keeps it idle at 31C ~ 33C, game at 63C ~ 67C. I also did stress test, the highest I got was 71C.+ Loudness: The fan is very quite, even I overclocked the CPU, I can barely hear anything from the case.Cons:- Not really a con, but it will block the closest RAM slot if your RAM is tall. My RAM is GeIL Super Luce RGB DDR4. Good thing is my motherboard, Asus TUF Z270 Mark 2, still works fine with RAM installed in the A2 B2 slots.Other Thoughts:I was in between this and the Hyper 212 Evo. I also thought about CRYORIG H7 and H5 Universal but finally decided to go with H5 Ultimate after doing some researches (H5 has better quality parts than H7). The main reason I didn't go with Hyper 212 Evo is the design of it, I have a tempered glass case, Hyper 212 Evo just doesn't look good with the heat sink top. I know many people would suggest AIO cooler for tempered glass case but I prefer air cooler in long term. This baby looks good with my case theme. I highly recommend this if you want a high quality performance CPU cooler at the affordable price, couple things you need to consider: the max height CPU fan support of your case and the height of your RAM.My Current Setup:Asus TUF Z270 Mark 2Intel i7 7700K @ 4.7GHzEVGA Nvidia GTX 97016GB GeIL Super Luce RGB DDR4 2400256GB Intel SSD3TB Toshiba HDD 7200RPMSeasonic FOCUS Plus 850WCryorig H5 Ultimate7 APEVIA 120mm Case Fansanidees AI-Crystal-Lite Case

The seller took their sweet time to ship this, despite the fact that I had paid for rushed shipping. The product itself is great though. Installation is relatively straightforward, although for some reason mine sits slightly askew. This is more of a personal annoyance, as it does keep core temps cool under stress and below 30C on idle. Be aware that on ATX form factor motherboards, the fan may overlap one of the RAM slots, so you might not be able to utilize all module configurations. This will be true for most CPU heatsinks in this category, though.

First Impressions: Ordered it Monday and received it Thursday. Packaging and Contents inside were legit premium quality. Rating: 5/5Installation: Pretty Easy IF (big if) you install the Cryorig cooler outside of the case. I installed my Cryorig H5 inside a corsair 400R mid-tower on a P8Z77-V motherboard. It was rather difficult with low light conditions, and it's necessary to detach a lot of cables and connectors, along with the graphics card, in order to see if they screws could align with the designated holes of the mounting system. May have to use the flashlight of your cell phone. I do think it's important to see the screws if they go in the holes as you screw them, rather than blindly screw them and realize they never went in the first place. Rating 4.5/5 (not that easy the first time for noobs like me, but easy if you're an expert with experience)Performance: Very strong with standard clock speeds; allowed me to overclock my i5-3570k :) Quiet, durable, cool temperatures! Rating 5/5Lasting Impressions or Final Remarks: I recommend 5/5. Like I said before, Installation is possibly a hot mess if your internal components, like cables or connectors, are blocking your way, and to top it off, the H5 ultimate is pretty big. However, once that's done, it's quite the accomplishment to integrate it into your system for a peace of mind. Well-done cryorig. Keep up the quality products! My internal specs: i5-3570k, 2x 4gb Corsair Vengeance memory in A2:B2 config, Asus P8Z77-V motherboard, FirePower Silencer Mk III 600W power supply, Corsair 400R case, MSI R9 270 2G graphics card.------Edit: 7/20/16ordered an XT140 slim fan for push/pull. can see temperature drops at load (100% via prime95) by 3-4C, which makes it arguably comparable to the R1 for $90 (versus the H5 + XT140mm fan both for $65)...
