Happy Server Buyer
This is a specific product being a CPU cooler for a NARROW socket 2011 that takes up a small space. It replaced a Dynatron R24 which worked well and goes into a larger case but took up too much space in the mini-itx now that I was going to be changing things around frequently on this small MB in a small case. Easy install and works perfectly and cools more than the R24. No it is NOT super quiet and you have to program your fan to make it relatively quiet except under heavy load. Under heavy load everyone will know but NOT that bad! You not see the fan going around to know it is on but a light comes on. Easy to bolt up. The R24 has very tight bolt up against the heat sink which is annoying if you working inside a mini itx case. The CPU cooling is perfect. You want total quiet use the R24 with a large fan not the stock fan but it takes up a lot of space.Roe 5685 ... used in Cool Master mini ITX case on X99E-ITX/AC where you can swap around high end i7's and Xeons.

The first time I saw this in person I was thinking, oh no! Another fail dinky CPU cooler, what a pain I may have to return it.This has to be the most powerful very low profile cooler I have ever used with what seems to be a very high quality build. I'm cooling an 8 core Xeon on one my servers with it and it dropped my temp by at least 30c. Not kidding here for me at least it's that good. I'm hoping they would make the exact same quality/performance and looks for every single new processor that comes out. I would buy it every time for any of my computers that I'm not liquid cooling.Noise? Yes it could get loud but not that bad in a sealed high quality computer case depending on how hard you stress the CPU if you use the CPU temp to control it with and that's fine for me.

I'm using this to cool a Xeon E5-1650 (140W thermal output) in a 1U case. It's a bit loud but it does the job well - CPU temperature is cool and stable, even in a warm server rack.

Good cooler for tight spaces. A tiny bit on the warm side for my Xeon (50c), but considering the size it's really good cooling.
