This is my second Gelid Solutions Slim Silence i-Plus. Fan cable is delicate and the one on first unit got torn apart while trying to route it. However that was my fault because I tend to be a little harsh on things. Avoid touching inner edges located around fan blades, they're not soft at all. Again one shouldn't be touching them so that's not really a con. Thermal performance is remarkable for non-overclocked cpus and noise level is very low, whisper like. I've tried dynatron low profile coolers but they're way too loud to be used at home. These instead work quietly, mount well in every ITX board I've tried, and look nice. Look no further if all you want is a low profile cooler for a tight but well ventilated case.

Fantastic heatsink! I'm overclocking my CPU and even while running full 100% CPU all cores this thing keeps it cool. I have a home theater PC and this heatsink is one of very few that are small enough to fit inside the slim case. Its also super quiet at idle you cannot hear it at all and at full speed its not that loud either. the only thing to look out for is that it will run into your ram cards if you don't have low profile ram. other than that the asymmetrical design allows it to fit just about anywhere.I knocked it down a star because there was a small scratch on the copper pad that connects with the CPU but it hasn't seemed to hurt performance.

I've purchased two of these cooler. Bothe for 125 watt AMD APU's, 3.3 and 3.8 GHZ on Asus mobo's. The highest APU temp I've seen is 41c and averaging about 37c. This cooler also does a good job cooling the motherboard and memory. The entire cooler can be rotated 90 degrees prior to installation or reinstallation of the motherboard to miss tall memory chips.

Precisely what I needed. Quiet. Not overly large for the board. Gets the job done.
