Great cooler, performs as well as the more expensive Dark Rock Pro 3 and looks almost as good. The included fan is whisper quiet and pushes sufficient air.Installation is super easy. Thermalright gives you a high quality German made full size screwdriver with this that works perfectly. If you need a high end air cooler that looks sharp with a black top plate, this is the way to go! You can spend more on the Dark Rock Pro 3 which does look better, but it's more difficult to install, costs more and is heavier.I have no issues with RAM clearance using this cooler on an Asus X99 Sabertooth motherboard with G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 memory sticks that are 4.5cm (1.75 inches) tall including their heat spreaders. Very pleased!

This is by far my favorite cpu cooler, for at least a couple reasons. The first being that it cools about as well as Thermalright's bigger HR-22 cooler. With both, I'm able to get by with only needing an exhaust fan in my case (so 1 fan total for my build). That means a lot for someone that demands extremely quiet pc operation.Second, the included Thermalright TY-147a fan is one of the best, if not THE best, 140mm fan on the market. I make that claim after using fans from Noctua, Fractal Design, Be Quiet, and Corsair. All these companies make claims of having truly silent fans, but I've found the TY-147a to be one of the only fans to live up to the claim (another would be the Silent Wings 3 fan from Be Quiet; avoid the Silent Wings 2 fans, though). I don't know how Thermalright was able to get this fan as silent as they have, but it remains my favorite fan.Another big plus for this cooler is the simple mounting system. The hr-22's mounting was tough, although a big part of that was due to bad instructions. The Macho cooler includes simpler mounting that's quicker to install, with a lower bracket that also provides more ram clearance. One last positive? - the top black fin is a nice aesthetic touch that helps give this cooler a more premium appearance; most other tower coolers on the market dare not break the plain aluminum color & look, and they all appear just a tad more bland compared to the Macho Rev B as a result.Overall I've remained a loyal advocate for this cooler. It continues to find it's way into every new build I do.

I liked how long it has kept my cpu's cool over the years. It's worked great for this long keeping my 4790k under 65c even under heavy tasks. I no longer use this but it worked great the last 6-7 years I've had it.I disliked how huge it was at first but it grew on me. Other than that I have no issues with it. Oh, I did have to clean it every few weeks or months to take the fan off to clean out all the dust. Wasn't much of a burden to me but it might be to others. Was a little tricky getting it on the first time but the screwdriver they provide has a strong magnet so you can slide the screw straight down without losing it. The magnet is also strong enough to pick up the screws if you happen to drop it.

The good:I am running a processor overclocked from 3.5Ghz to 4.1Ghz and the CPU temperature stays below body temperature with the fan at less than 500rpm. This means the fan is nearly dead silent (I can't hear it from more than 3 inches away). It comes with all the hardware needed to install, including a magnetic tipped screwdriver (which makes screwing on the bracket easy). The not so good:The installation instruction booklet was a little hard to understand and there are no english videos demonstrating the steps. Take your time and refer back to the first overall picture and you can get through it.The fan is big enough that it will block RAM chips in the nearest slot if they have heat spreaders that stick up at all. So either plan on leaving 1 slot empty, or using RAM that doesn't need heat spreaders. The ugly:Nothing ugly to be found with it.Edit: After 6 months, I decided that I really wanted to use all the motherboards RAM slots. First I tried a 15mm thick 140mm fan with 120mm mounting holes. It worked although it was 2-3 degrees warmer and louder as well. Eventually I took a dremel and shaved an 1/8in of the front bottom of the original fan's casing and remounted it on the cooler. Back to very cool, silent operation and RAM is now maxed out. I'm going to buy another Macho Rev. B for a computer I'm building for someone else.
