Can't fault it. Works great. Keeps a 64 core Epyc quiet and cool.

Ok, I used to have one of those huge and loud Cooler Master AMD Wraith Ripper. Get this one. This heat sink is way quieter, it's keeping my 2950X at 33C, I never saw it this low! Best of all it doesn't fight with the GPU for space. I'm blown away (pun not intended). I should have bought this brand long ago. I also paired it with another fan for a push-and-pull configuration and it's still quieter than the Cooler Master. It doesn't have LED lights which is perfect for me.

Purchased for a Threadripper 2920X. Will keep the processor cool ( 12 core ) without overclocking. I would not set the CPU to PBO either. It is JUST enough to keep the 2920 stock completely happy - no throttling and fairly quiet. I purchased a second fan in push pull arrangement. I give the quality 5 stars but the cooling is 4 stars. The larger NH-U14S-SP3 Would allow for overclocking if that is what you are looking for, but my case couldn't handle the height of that cooler. I am Super happy with this air cooler. Great quality and fairly quiet. No risk of AOI leaking. This should last the life of your PC, so get the cooler you need - anything larger than TR 2920x - go for the Larger 14S

The Noctua air cooler is one of the very few that claims to be able to handle the Threadripper, and it does so handily. My current rig is a 12 core 24 thread 1st generation chip, and it idles right around 20c with this unit. It comes with extra hardware, so you can add another 120mm fan in a push-pull arrangement, or replace both with ARGB fans or higher flow rate fans with simple to use spring clips. It also has rubber angle bushings on the corners of the fan and an extra set for an additional fan. The fan connector is standard, but it also has an extension that allows it to fit on either 3 or 4 pin headers. It fits in a Lian Li standard mid tower case with a tempered glass side panel, and the heat pipe ends do not touch the glass. The original fan was whisper quiet, and the included thermal paste is high quality. The hardest stress I've put on it so far is the reboot of DOOM with all settings maxed out, and the core temp never exceeded 38c.
