Got this a few years back when it released and its held up ever since. Still a viable option for todays gpus.

First, I just want to remind anyone reading these reviews, that for some reason, people seem to be confused with the "seller" and "the product."The one-star reviews complaining about scalping are actually punishing MSI, who is often out of stock. MSI are not the ones selling their card at the inflated price. So if you've done this, you should really be decent and delete your review. You're actually attacking the card itself, not the scalpers.Having said that, I upgraded from an RTX 2080 to an RTX 3080. I was skeptical I was going to see the kinds of performance gains the reviewers claimed, because typically, generation-on-generation performance isn't THAT dramatic. But wow. Just wow.My RTX 2080 was a card that, in MOST cases, could run games @ 1440p, max settings, and maintain 60fps. Sometimes I'd have to turn down a setting or two. But that was the absolute highest I could get and the best I could hope for. This new card (RTX 3080) enables me to do the exact same thing, but at FULL-ON 4k. And that's without even adding DLSS into the equation. This card is actually SO powerful that in many games, like Outriders, I don't even NEED to use DLSS; the fact that it's there for me if I do need it just makes everything sweeter. This is probably the best generation of GPUs since Nvidia released that old 9800GTX a long time ago.Absolutely love it.

After waiting 2 months from my purchase date, I finally received my card. No issues with installation or updating drivers. No RGB is not an issue as the inside of my case has minimal RGB as it is. The card looks and feels great. At stock settings I am getting a Timespy score that is more than triple that of my old GTX 1070. I have not had a chance to completely stress test the card, but I did get a chance to boot up RDR2, PUBG, Escape From Tarkov and have had great results. Temps range from 65-71 celcius under full load. All of these games are seeing some incredible performance boost. Hopefully these cards become available to everyone soon. I would highly recommend this card as the performance is great.

I recieved what I purchased, it works, I may have overpaid... but it was sealed, in tacked, and runs how it's intended to. I hope more are restocked soon at retailers, so everyone who wants one, can get them at msrp. Impatience can get the best of us, but I wish everyone a great new year. Seller has quite a few negative reviews, but if you need this card or other 30 series, they may just be trustworthy, honestly. No guarantees, but I did get what I paid for. Hopefully you do too. Respect.
