I decided to replace our old multimedia computer, which was an old Acer with a Phenom ii x4 840 and a GT1030 low profile graphics card. I had an old eMachine case that I modified to fit the new ASRock board and it's shield, put a new power supply in it, i5-9400 processor, DDR42666 RAM and finished it with a GTX 1650 and m.2 drive. It rips for a sub-$750 build. Love it. We use it every day for streaming shows and movies, and my son is playing video games on it getting 80 fps as I write this.

Just got this brand new board and it POST first try with Core i5-8400, GTX1060, and 2666MHz 2x8GB RAMs. WiFi 5GHz and Bluetooth works. My one small careless problem is that the I/O shield is a bit sharp that I got a cut on my thumb while trying to install on a case.

The B365M-ITX/ac motherboard from AsRock is a good, small mobo that has enough to cover most PC builds. The board supports 8th and 9th-gen Intel CPUs, and features two slots for DDR memory, four SATA connectors, one PCie for a graphics card, and one M.2 NVMe connector. The I/O backplate has four USB-3.0 ports, one HDMI, one DisplayPort, one LAN, and dual WiFi antennas. There are also legacy PS2 and DVI-I connectors for use with older hardware.I used this motherboard as the center point of a new Hackintosh dual boot build, and it went smoothly. Setting it up for MacOS did not require any complicated tinkering, with the right kexts every hardware function (except WiFi, see next sentence) was recognized. Because the board used a removable Intel WiFi card, I was able to swap in an Apple Airport card for full MacOS native functionality like Airdrop, Handoff, Continuity, etc.On the Windows 10 side getting the B365 board ready to go was as standard as any other Windows 10 machine build. I am currently using the board with an Intel Core i7 that has the integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics chip, and that is more than enough to handle regular internet (and mild gaming) use.

Fit an itx case easily. Runs good. M2 is amazing. Boots up faster than the monitor. Wish documentation was better for fan controller, but once i figured it out, worked great.
