I bought the ASRock MB to replace a failed Z390 Aorus Pro by Gigabyte. While it was still in its warranty period, I'd failed to register it with Gigabyte and and warranty was voided. Stuck! Burned! Pruchased ASRock because it was a featured item in a build in MaximumPC Magazine. The ASRock MB has some drawbacks, starting with the manual which lacks clear diagrams and illustrations. The best manuals are by Gigabyte or Asus.1. The MB labeling is poor, faint or not existent.2. Front panel header for PWR SW and Hd drive LEDs is non standard. Good luck!3. Not enough fan headers conveniently placed on MB.4. Labeling on MB is small, light and faint.5. When RAM snaps in, it has a cheap feel to the socket and there is only one lever to the side. You have to "angle" the sticks in. Very awkward and "iffy" insertion.6. Too few USB ports on the back. TOO FEW!The Steel Legend came up perfectly configured on first boot. The BIOS is easy to understand and configure. This is a reliable easy to configure MB, but only for experienced builders. Recommended with above reservations and not for newbs.
