I needed a LGA1200 motherboard with as many built in SATA ports as I could get. When I was shopping, this was really the only game in town. The board is working fine, but one frustrating issue that I’ve all but given on on is that the motherboard bios has settings to use the onboard GPU as primary while there is a gpu in the PCIe a slot, but it doesn’t work. No matter what we you choose in the bios, the system boots on the PCIe board, not the intel onboard graphics. It’s frustrating to me because I am using this in an UnRAID server with 2 virtual machines and GPU’s passed through to them. I would like for the underlying Linux based os to use the onboard graphics at boot up but the only way I’ve gotten the boot screen on the onboard graphics card is to remove the ones from the PCIe slots.
