Tested with both i5 8400, i9 9900K. Must have a CPU that has the integrated video enabled or else AMT will not work. CPUs like i5 9400F and 9900KS confirmed will not work with Intel AMT even with a discrete graphics card.

I primarily purchased for AMT remote management and 8th gen i7 compatibly. It works well, once you get it setup. It was less then a straight forward AMT setup compared to the dozens of others I have done. Out of the box nothing worked related to AMT, couldn’t get into the management screen during boot. In fact there was a password set on the bios, non of the normal defaults worked so I had to rest via CLRTC jumper on motherboard (download manual and follow instructions if you try this and not sure what your doing).I finally was able to get AMT working and into the ME configuration screen but only going to the ASUS page for the Q370M-C (not the Q370M-C/CSM). I downloaded and flashed the firmware from the support section (Version 2808, dated 2020/06/03). Once I did that I was able to enter the configuration screen via Ctrl+P on boot and setup AMT.I’m using this with a i7-8700K and Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G26C16U4R. So far it’s performed very well.

This is a MB Q370 for VPro and it did not boot. Also bought a Supermicro and also an AsrockBoth booted nicely. ( I needed 3 boards ).I have Asus MBs that work fine but all bought some time ago.I bought a Z370 Asus. It worked fine for 2 months then had to be returned.Something has to be done about their recent lower quality control.

Bios version 1404 brings compatibility for 9000 series cpu's, tested with i9 9900k. i219-lm NIC supports server 2019. Great board, no complaints!
