Excellent motherboard. Upgraded to an i5-8400 when the new CPUs dropped and got this motherboard to go along with it, and it’s been smooth sailing. I was upgrading from a 7 year old PC so the difference is night and day, but it couldn’t have been any easier to set up my new rig. Hooked everything up and it ran perfectly on the first try, haven’t had a single issue and I’ve been using it very frequently.Using this motherboard with:Intel i5-8400GeForce GTX 1050 Ti16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2666 MHzHyper 212 Evo Cooling UnitSamsung 960 M.2 SSD 250 GBEVGA 650 G3 Gold PSU

This is a very nice motherboard. I got lucky and got one of the new Intel 8400 chips. Everything is smooth and crisp, really a great upgrade from a 5 year old cpu (I upgrade on 5 year cycles) I wish I could put Windows 7 on it but these days it's locked into Windows 10 only.Everything booted up nicely and is well laid out on this board. I wasn't expecting the sound to be an upgrade for me but even that sounds better than my old board did. The main difference from the "pro and plus" was from what I could tell more USB back plate slots for the pro, the plus comes with less back plate USB, but an M.2 heatsink included. The onboard monitor connections are also different (I don't know why you would be using them anyways, get a graphics card). I would recommend to anyone, especially at $150.BTW, I'm not running any heatsink nor water cooling. I'm using the stock Intel fan. My case has 2 fans attached only. The board is reading 35c idle temps, 45c peak temp.

Got this for a friend that needed a better computer to do video editing. This was super easy to put together. RAM went in easy. Processor went in easy. M.2 drives were easy. It also looks nice in the small case we put it in. Wasn't sure about the color, but it really looks nice once you have everything installed. Very well packaged.

This mobo is great for the money, I paired it with a 9700k and seems to be decent for now until I update it next. The bios updates with a internet connection which is fancy and easy. However overclocking doesnt seem to be quite as easy as the MSI's I am use to however the board looks great and runs great. Might just have to play with it some more to get use to it.
