This board is fantastic. Does everything I need, is visually gorgeous and crazy compatible. I have a NVMe stick in there, a pair of 1080's in SLI, an 8th gen i7 and several types of drives in there and the board didn't miss a beat. I love the customizable colors and you can do each area of the board individually.

Good motherboard many pros and cons but pros outweigh the consPros:-RGB on PCI express slots, Ram slots, and chipset cover-designated pump header-2 RGB Headers-8 USB Ports (one is usb c)-SLI and Crossfire support-Sexy PCB-Awesome BIOS. Mouse support, Overclocking presets, RGB fusion built in to bios,-RGB fusion in windows is surprisingly really good using it for motherboard and corsair ram-Manual was really good, everything you wanna know is in thereCons:-had to reseat the CPU after putting everything together, minor but took a long time to figure out-The top VRM heatsink covers a bit of a case routing hole and is really close to the 240mm radiator, need to take out rad to route cables-Has a DVI port, like why?-only 7 VRM Phases, so i wouldnt go above a 5Ghz Overclock on 1.34 Volts (i5 8600k)

Great purchase. I bought this for my new computer build. At first, it was trouble fitting in my NZXT S340 case but it ended up working which was weird. The bios on this motherboard is simple and easy for beginners. I defiantly recommend this computer if your looking for a high end build. Worked great with GTX 1080’s of any kind.

4 stars because the plastic "Thermal Armor" that covers the rear panel dips down to far and could interfere with installation of your graphics card. I have a Gigabyte GTX 1080 Extreme Gaming card and it would not seat into the first PCI slot. Really Gigabyte? One of your own cards wont fit your board. Anyway it was either take it all apart and remove the Thermal Armor and reinstall, or take the dremel a $600+ video card or a $150 motherboard. Needless to say the board lost.CONS:Bios is not the best. There are no hints for some of the settings. You might need to input a number or a + or - to change a value. The RGB software sucks. It would crash windows half the time or not work right. Just change RGB in the bios. Same goes for the RGB software for the GTX 1080. Even with Gigabytes drivers its sketchy. It will work but takes to patience and effort.I was able to get 8700k to 5GHz (not delided), and corsair vengeance to 3600MHz with almost no effort. Very happy so far. Makes up for the other stuff.Overall a solid board. My second Gigabyte build in the last few months. I wouldn't be afraid to buy another.
