** Need to Flash update Bios with USB for Ryzen 3 series to work (at least for me and many others)I really like this MB as it allowed me to do everything that I needed from hardware to software needs. I changed from Intel CPU to AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (Got lucky and was able to buy one from Micro Center) and couldn't be more glad of my decision, mainly due to video editing and second for gaming. I was also a big fan of ASUS and EVGA MB's, and have always used those two manufactures for MB's since I started building my own PC's 16 years ago. But I wanted to change to this MSI MB this time and I have no regrets. Coming from ASUS and EVGA, I did not like the bios interface as much, but after couple of days you get used to it. I was very happy with the available options for Overclocking, but make sure to Update bios to latest version to get optimized settings for AMD Ryzen 3 series. I was able to OC my CPU to 3.6Ghz for base clock and was able to get two cores to get 5.0Ghz with the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (See attached Pics). It could OC higher but that's all I needed. This was done with minimum changes and effort on my side as most of it was done by AMD optimization bios update. The performance difference was noticeable for my video editing processes coming from an Intel CPU and OC only helped it even more. If you are a gamer or video editor looking to upgrade to Ryzen 3 Series, I would highly recommend this motherboard.Pros: Beast of a motherboard for the money.Easy tuning.Very sturdy and PCIe for Graphic card is strong with shielding.Good RGB and fan connections *(all fan connections are on the bottom of CPU, may not working in favor for some of you)Easy OC bios feature with bios updateCons: Dragon Center was the only con for me - it was a pain to install Dragon center for any RGB changes or MB/hardware tuning. Had to do some work around to get it to work, but now it works fine. Not reducing a star for this because everything else about MSI hardware and software was awesome.Overall I would recommend this MB to anyone.

As a first time PC builder, this motherboard was a lifesaver. I had purchased a different motherboard I thought would work, but it was not well made at all. In fact, I had to tear the whole thing apart and replace that power supply as well as SSD two times because of it!This motherboard however, is a game changer. It’s as beautiful as it is functional. With fun added RGB on the motherboard as well as an RGB system that is easy and functional to use it exceeds expectations in the lighting department.Everything attached to it easily, no problems with connections, runs cool, and it snapped into my case perfectly. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, functional, and beautiful motherboard look no further!

I purchased this board coming back from buying an ASUS X470F coming from an MSI Z77 platform. The board was an absolute nightmare to work with and had constant issues.I learned my lesson and have come back home to MSI. Great quality out of the box, board feels incredibly sturdy. IO is fantastic and the WIFI works absolutely phenomenally (completely saturating my 100MB/s connection). Header locations are great, plenty of chassis fan headers and i really appreciate them being located along the bottom of the board for cable management purposes. An absolute TON of sata ports, and the two USB connection locations really help. VRM heatsinks feel beefy and plenty adequate for overclocking, given reasonable airflow over them. Temps seem great. In contrast to ASUS, this MSI board works fantastically out of the box. No BIOS tweaking required, but even when I did update the BIOS the flashback feature made this a no brainer. No worries of bricked boards like other brands. The chipset fan is remarkably quiet too given its size. I had heard things about x570 fans being loud, but this is whisper quiet. Also I *REALLY* appreciate its intelligent location underneath the PCIE x16 slot rather than right against it like other brands.BIOS itself is a breeze to work with, and POST times are lightning fast in comparison to other brands. PCIE 4.0 is also incredible. Its actually so fast im not even sure what workload i can throw at it to make it sweat. NVME SSDs are a must have with this, and the board has a fantastic heatsink to compliment it.Speeds on my 3800x are great too. Hitting advertised boost out of the box which really REALLY surprised me.Really I cant say enough great things about this board, thanks MSI for reminding me what good quality is.

Wow! Im no gamer, I like to tinker! I know this board is way overkill for what I do, but I like the best. This board is by far the best I've had. I decided this build would be crazy for me. It handles my new 3700X Ryzen 7, MSI 1660TI, and Dell 34 inch curved monitor, etc. I have 1 Samsung 500gb NVME SSD for OS (has room for 3) 2 Samsung 500gb 3.5 SSD for storage and 1 is empty. This board is loaded with features that im not really familiar with. It boots extremely fast, looks great and is just fantastic. Sure, at $375 is costly but, I like the best and I like to tinker. I have not yet begun to explore everything about this board but it sure is a pretty piece! Did I say I like the best and love to tinker. This board in itself, keeps me busy. Awesome board, no problems, great price!
