I'll start off by saying I had a lot of trouble and almost returned it, but that was due to my lack of knowledge, not the board itself. MSI has made a quality mid-range board with ample features for the everyday regular user/gamer. It's easy to install, looks great, and the onboard Wi-fi/Bluetooth is awesome. It allows for an easy and stable overclock, I have my 3.2ghz Ryzen 5 1600 running at 3.85ghz no problem, and my 16gb RAM at a nice 3466mhz. Note: I started out with 32gb RAM, 4x8 DDR4 sticks, and couldn't overclock at all. I'm not sure if it's my CPU or the motherboard itself, but it's a good note to take down. Couldn't overclock at all with all 4 sticks. It wouldn't be a big issue, but my RAM is rated for 3600mhz so I want what I paid for. Moving on, the power/RGB/fan/USB locations are all in standard, but easy-to-reach locations. The Dragon Center software is better than some I've used and allows for easy control of fans, voltages, etc. and even allows for custom fan curves, which is really nice. The PCI slots are more sturdy than I expected and didn't let my giant GPU sag as much as I thought it would. The BIOS (Running the latest, 1B) are simplistic, but easy enough to figure out. Overclocking took a bit of playing around to really nail down but it works really well once figured out. The Memory Try It! feature is an interesting alternative to XMP and basically applies manual timings through preset profiles. Personally I do them manually, but that's quite obviously not for everyone. The one thing I wish this card had was always-on USB ports for charging things like controllers and headsets, my last motherboard had that and it's great, but I'm still very happy with my purchase. All in all, this board may seem a little pricy until you factor in the onboard Wi-fi and Bluetooth, and performs better than I expected, that is once I figured everything out. The aesthetics are great, the software is easy to use, and overclocking is *now* a breeze. Highly recommend.

I watched a lot of different YouTube videos regarding this board and also the different Reddit forums talking about the complications they had. i still went ahead and bought it base on the solid recommendations. i have to confess: I was nervous, because after pulling the trigger I read that they where some BIOS issues. I received it and for my surprise, it said it was Ryzen 3000 ready on the box. The problem is that it was an after thought sticker, that in my opinion didn't looked official. So, I...well... to be sure... still went ahead and updated the BIOS with the most recent one (as of Aug. 30). I was shocked...it worked. But that was the easy part. Then it came the part of assembly. The manual could really be worked. I humbly suggest to color code the different sections for easy and logical understanding of the presented information. This is not my first time building a PC, but if it wasn't for the fact that MSI has the manual in digital PDF version on their support page, I could have made a mistake. MSI, you added RGB to the Motherboard, add some to the manual.I'm happy with the support on their web page. Make sense, at least for me. The board feels substantial and sturdy. I'm in no way a professional reviewer, but the built quality it quite decent. I feel that they should drop the price on this board a little bit more, since its was a complicated to download the Nahimic Audio Software. If you care for the audio, I'll tell you: its really good! And if you want to take the full potential of it, download the Nahimic Software from the Windows Store. Don't bother downloading it from the MSI support page. Save the time. But, while you're on the MSI support page, do yourself a favor and download their proprietary software for the board. I took a gamble expecting bloatware, I was wrong. It works. The App Manager its a convenient way to keep all of their software organized. The Live Update 6 made it easy to update the drivers after the Windows installation. (I know Windows update the drivers too, but I wanted to play safe). It has a pretty good layout for the fan pins and the RGB its a nice accent. My ideal motherboard would have been this board without the RGB- I don't need the lights, pass that savings to the consumer MSI. The feature of the motherboards on the capacitors area, the audio, the convenience of the 2 NVMe and the integrated WiFi was my main reasons for my purchase. To finish, i can happily said that after the updates, installing Win10 Pro, running the tests to make sure all is running like a Swiss submariner clock and enabling the XMP profile, my Ryzen 3600 (non X) is running at 4.2 Mhz. Granted, I'm also using a Scythe Ninja 5 CPU Cooler. Its stable, its fast and didn't break my bank account. This is my first MSi product and I'm a satisfied customer.

I’ve had this in my PC for 4 years. Never had an issue with it or ran out of accessory ports. The RGB is a nice touch too :)
