Upgraded from a measly Ryzen 5 3400G to this 5600X. Literally a night and day difference. Frame times are so much better and it just makes everything overall much smoother. Paired with an RTX 2060, my build can run pretty much any game at medium-high settings. I was even surprised to see that the 2060 was a bottleneck when paired to the 5600X. I would imagine a 3070 or even a 4060 would be a better match for this CPU. Temps are not an issue at all when paired with an ID-COOLING 240mm AIO and some Noctua thermal paste. Overall, great value for the price, and a great option for the AM4 platform.

For my first CPU for my budget PC build, this is an amazing find. Not only was it discounted compared to other sites like newegg, it shipped before anything else on my build list and was not damaged or fried. Not only is it fast, it's beautiful, comes with a cooler, which is decent for a starter PC, but obviously not a permanent solution. Although it's not the most up-to-date model, it acts like one. For anyone looking for a cheaper CPU solution on the AMD side or looking for a good starter CPU, this is the best one I'd recommend!
