My first PC build in 10 years. I've been lazy and just buying pretty built for lost of the last decade. But after my most recent Alienware struggled with RDR2 I decided to build one again. This processor paired with an ASUS 2080 8GB OC Dual graphics card with 16GB of DDR4 RAM absolutely shreds everything I throw at it on the highest possible graphics settings. No bottlenecking to worry about here. I've got a 30% overclock running during intensive use and my temps are more than manageable with an aftermarket cooler. This thing is powerful and its definitely capable of handling whatever you need it to. The price point is a bit of a kick in the wallet but... you do get what you pay for.

Using part manufactories setting and it is performing better than I was hoping for a “non” SLI rig. I combined this CPU with an EVGA x299 Dark motherboard and ran OC Robot to overclock it to a much higher maximum clock speed. No crashing whatsoever and the system is cool. I'm using a 240mm AIO water cooler to ensure thermals stay within tolerable levels.I use the system for a combination of tasks including casual gaming and video production. Could not be happier with the value for the money. Shipping took three days, which is the only thing I have to complain about (and I'm being petty).

After purchasing this CPU. I did some research and found that according to some Tech reviewers. This CPU only improves PC performance by about 2 percent. Which would mean that it is a lot more expensive than CPU's of similar ability. However, it is working quite well and I have no complaints about its performance.
