Pat
Pretty incredible CPU, it can handles everything we can throw at it. The price I received on it was pretty awesome too. I'm thrilled for the upgrade from my former quad core 4770 CPU. It is cooled with a large air cooler and works great even under load, overclocked with the motherboard (Asus) software.

Runs everything I want to. Photoshop loads in about 10 seconds or less instead is 2 minutes. Love the vendor. I received the CPU 5 days before it was supposed to shop. Will definitely use them again. Was genuinely surprised to find a nice thank you card with my order.

We have used laptops exclusively in our business for years and recently built a beast of a streaming machine and this processor is the heart of that beast. Ingesting video sources, playback of video clips, recording, and streaming we can't get this processor to even think of slowing down. We cool it with a corsair water cooler and it stay at about 40C. Plenty of PCIe lanes. It is pricey but for business applications we need reliability, and this gives that in spades.

Mine arrived DOA so no way I can give it a good review. Tried it with a couple different mobos, power supplies, and even different CPU coolers and nada. Awaiting refund now, but I ended up with a 10900X and was good to go on the first boot up. I’m bummed, but probably going to 10th gen mobo/chip next year.
