I bought the 2950x, Corsair 760T chassis, Asus Zenith Extreme, Corsair HX1000I PSU, Thermaltake Floe Riing 360, Corsair LPX 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz C16 DDR4 DRAM Memory Kit, Black (CMK32GX4M2B3200C16) from Amazon. The CPU arrived but the chip was loose inside the box. I could not install Windows 10 but was able to install Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. When I ran Chrome or Firefox under , the CPU kept hanging up. I changed to Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2133MHz (PC4 17000) C13 Memory Kit - Black, thinking may be memmory compabibil;ity from what I read on Youtube, web. But the problem still occured, can not install windows, kept on hanging when runing Chrome, FireFox under Ubuntu. Changed to G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) AMD X370 Memory Model F4-3200C14D-16GFX. Same problem occrued. I changed the mem clock to from 1600-3200 for 3200 MHZ and 1600-2133 MHZ for 2133 MHZ and 1600-3200 for G.Skill. Same problem. Can not install Windows 10. hung when ran Chrome under Ubuntu. Hung when ran Geekbench when it run under multi core, single core is ok. I ran mem test and it was ok. Thinking the CPU was damage during ship, I ask for replacement and got one. When i installed in the system ansd ran with G.Skill, It was able to boot windows 10, Ubuntu and no problem.I had to upgrade the BIOS to 1402 for the Asus Zenith to boot with 2950x.Now it works very smoothly. It run fast!!!!,Very happy with the unit.

I bought these Corsair Vengeance 16gb 3200mhz RAM sticks for my PC and I love extra the performance. They were working perfectly fine until I did an update and discovered that I had two different versions of the RAM sticks. The version number indicates the type of memory chips used on them and having different versions may cause instability or compatibility issues. I wish I had known this before buying them. I suggest that you check the version number before purchasing and match it with your existing RAM sticks if you have any. Other than that, I rate this product 5 stars because it is a great product and I have no complaints about it.

I bought this DDR4 kit because it was on Gigabyte B450M-DS3H QVL list (more exactly, its 64GB version was, which meant this one would most probably work too). This RAM worked out of the box on my AMD Ryzen 5 2600X system at XMP profile 1 (3200/CL16 @1.35V). Before purchasing this RAM I used Corsair LPX 3000/CL15 on the same system at 2933 MHz (the motherboard does not support 3000MHz, only 2933 and 3200). Here is a comparison of my Geekbench4 scores with this DDR4 and Corsair LPX 3000/CL15:Corsair 3200/CL16 @3200-----------------------Single-core: 5370Multi-core: 26600Corsair 3000/CL15-----------------------Single-core: 5340Multi-core: 26100As you can see, the difference is pretty noticeable in favor of this kit. This kit also works at 3200/CL16 on ASRock B450M pro4 motherboard (and I guess on other B450 motherboards, as well as x470 motherboards).

What's not to love about Corsair RAM? They're solid, dependable, fast and well-made. The company rarely produces lemons. I've bought a lot of their sticks over the years and they haven't let me down yet. This batch is no exception. Pay a little more and get a brand that has a great reputation. There are a lot of knock-offs these days with "company" names you can't even pronounce selling RAM at bargain-basement prices. I'd say you'd get what you pay for, but you'll get even less than that. I made that discovery years ago and have since stuck with recognized brands; it's worth the extra cost.
