Installed on a dell optiplex 3010 small form factor. Immidiately noticed an increase in performance over the stock 4GB of ram. Did a few tests with before and after and im definately happy with how it runs now. I can play most games with no problem with the ram. As a test i booted up minecraft before and after because i know it is very ram intensive, stock 4GB i was running between 30-35 fps, after i installed the 8GB hyper x kit, i was running between 90-115 fps on low settings, turned Vsync on and got a steady 60fps with no drops or screen tearing. Very happy with my purchase

In the process of upgrading/rebuilding my desktop, I wanted to add newer, faster RAM. I bought these sticks to replace my older Kingston HyperX 1600, which never missed a beat, they were just a little slower than I wanted. I'm not a gamer, nor do I do heavy rendering, so I will probably never realize the full potential of my AMD 8350 and this RAM, but I am working toward a final build/upgrade that will be relevant for years to come (such as it is). I didn't expect to see much of a difference in the performance of my build, but am comfortable knowing I have more "headroom" and am running faster than before. Packaging wasn't quite what I would have expected (sticks in a plastic bag placed inside a padded envelope), but DID arrive on time and in fine condition (I did note this to Amazon separately).

I had ordered the Low Voltage 1866MHz RAM, but instead I received the 1333MHz version. I was too eager to put together my first computer, so I decided to not make a fuss about it. But other than that, this and my computer has been working brilliantly!
