Have an older system and decided to get another pair of these sticks to go with the same ones I purchased a little over 4 years ago to max out what this old board can handle. No problems at all. Been using Patriot for many years now and they're still as solid as always. Been a satisfied customer for a while now.Sticks are being used with an Asus Z97-K motherboard and system is running Linux Mint 22.

I kept telling myself that in 2021, after the new CPUs and video cards cam out I would upgrade. LOL!I don't game that much, but I when I did and even in some large Databases and other personal projects It was swapping out to disk and causing performance issues. I had 8GB (2x4GB) and decided that since I can't actually buy any new parts for a new build, I would just hang on another year. This was an inexpensive upgrade that gave me a bit more life. I am running stock speed and it works just fine. I tried and can get a 5% (200MHz) overclock with no issue. It did a 400MHz 10% overclock with no issues either. That is as far as I tried and didn't do it for more than a boot of windows and a little light gaming. It seemed fine. I backed it down to stock just because I am a fan down in my little cramped ITX case and don't have the airflow that I need to keep the cpu as cool as I want.Over all, good ram, good price, it just works.

Very satisfied. I was like a kid waiting on Christmas day for the mail to run today. Had the rig waiting for them to be popped in as soon as they got here. Both sticks was recognized right away, booted without an issue(aside from having to wait on a windows update that i couldn't stop when i booted it up. That annoyed me, but had nothing to do with it lol.)Had upgraded from 6gb to 16. (Originally 12 but one of em started to fail) the rig is a few years old.i7 7700k with radeon rx 580 xxx. Running on a 32 in samsung smart tv 1080p. Gamed all day on it. No issues, even in areas that usually ill lag a lil bit on. Loading screens went much faster. Smoothed out fps spikes that i would sometimes have especially since i was down a stick of ram.Well worth the buy. Ive been a loyal patriot user for 15 or so years. Highly recommend and satisfied
