Works great with my Ryzen 3 2200G/RX 470 system. Have not overclocked them or messed with timings, just enabled XMP and made sure they were in dual channel mode. Also mine came with a black PCB, not green, and the heat spreader looks far less cartoon-y than it does in the pictures. Those were things I was somewhat worried about as I do like to look at my PC, but I wasn't about to spend $20+ extra to get RAM that looks better. And as it turns out that extra $20 would have been for nothing anyway. Patriot was a company I had not been familiar with, but for now, I don't see any reason to not buy Patriot memory. It seems like they have the cheapest 3000MHz DDR4 kit available right now. I will be buying again in the future to fill the rest of my RAM slots.*Edit* After around 4 months one stick failed. I contacted support the next day and was redirected to the RMA department. They sent an email explaining exactly what to do and I sent both sticks off, per the instructions. It took a couple days to get there and they immediately sent out a new kit which took a couple days to get to me. All in all it was a very pleasant RMA experience. I have no complaints and it was resolved quicker than I thought it would be. Definitely look into getting yourself a kit if you're in the market, they seem to look out for the customer, and not just the dollar signs.

I purchased this memory for a new build in January 2018 to replace a much older computer. Purchasing memory is a little trickier now as you really need to check motherboard compatibility lists (check the motherboard manufacturer website, and stick to the memory model numbers shown!).I used an MSI Z370 SLI Plus motherboard (the only real component you need to check for memory compatibility), an Intel Core i5-8400 processor, a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming-3GD 2.0 video card, and Samsung V-NAND SSD 850 EVO for my main hard drive (with 3 TB Western digital HD for data storage). Everything works flawlessly and I am getting full rated speed on the memory.Be aware that memory pricing is highly volatile right now due to several reasons, including some manufacturers switching to making NAND flash memory for smartphones (higher profit margins for them), cryptominers, and new platform releases that drive up demand for the smaller amount of available product. As such, when I bought this in early January it was still expensive, but checking pricing in late March it costs about $50 more than it did just 2.5 months ago. At the time, this was the best bang-for-the-buck memory I could find in the speed and capacity I was looking for.

I'm not sure what people are complaining about, make sure what you are buying is compatible with your system. I have always built my own computers and all i can say is trouble shooting and research is part of computer building. The memory in the bios will show 2133mhz, turn on XMP boost and it automatically sets the memory to the required frequency/voltage and presto, restart computer and there you go. 3000mhz. This memory is fantastic, it may not have RGB lighting and for this price range, who cares. It works as advertised and is great for gaming. Planning on adding another 16gigs at some point. Do not listen to the reviews stating it doesn't work with Ryzen. Most likely someone complaining because they couldn't figure it out. What do we do in America when we don't know something...we blame someone or something else. Keep on doing what you are doing Patriot your memory sticks rock!

I bought this memory kit way back in late August to use with my Ryzen 5 2600 and MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard. On my very first boot up, I went into the BIOS and enabled A-XMP Profile 2 which set the frequency to 3200 Mhz. It was that simple, and I used my system with that setting until I decided to try out faster frequencies About the second week of this month, I decided to experiment with another BIOS feature called "Try it" which gives you several choices of memory frequency and timings. I tried 3333 Mhz for one week and then went for 3464 Mhz after that and that's where I'm at right now. The timings remain at the stock 16-18-18-36. At the same time, I overclocked my CPU to 3900 GHz using Ryzen Master. To check stability, I ran PCMark 10 Express a few times with a result of 4751. After that, I ran Cinebench R15 half a dozen times, scoring 1309. I've also edited some photos using Darktable and Gimp with no problems. I couldn't be happier with this memory! Real value for money!
