I purchased memory for older desktop running as media server. Works perfectly. Shipped very quickly from seller. Memory arrived 2 days sooner than expected. It was also very well packed in bubble wrap.

This Genuine Samsung part was identified using CPU-Z as being authentic(see screen shots) and I don't think the best counterfeiters could possibly fool this program. The new UDIMM occupies Slot #1 in the attached photos.M378A2K43CB1-CTD matches with the stockM378A2K43DB1-CTDManufactured March 14, 2020 so it is new in the sealed plastic anti-static box, made in Philippines as it should be.64-Bit system now operates in dual channel mode quadrupling the clock rate.I'm totally happy with this easy and effective upgrade. Solid buy, easy install. The first boot takes a little longer since the BIOS needs to adjust to the new clock speed and memory addition. Be patient! It takes care of itself!

I have a pre-built system from HP, this is the ONLY memory I found that runs at 2666mhz SPD. 99% of memory out there has an SPD frequency of 2133mhz and relies on Intel XMP to get the memory to run faster. Since I do not have XMP in my bios this was the ONLY memory that would run at full 2666mhz speed.HUGE downside, the packing of the memory is terrible, wrapped in aluminum foil and plastic, sent in a bubble mailer. Seriously about as well as I could do at home. No cardboard or plastic tray to prevent flexing or cracking of the modules during shipping. I am amazed that it survived and now constantly worry if the memory will actually be reliable in my machine. Seller needs to step up and get some flex resistant trays or send them in a very small cardboard box, just something to prevent flex/bending of the sticks during shipping
