Really nice SSD, works well and fast
Sue M
I used it in a brand new pc but after a couple months it started to randomly slow down and overheat even when I'm just trying to start my pc. It would go to 100% usage with only 0.5 mb/s load! After a few months dealing with that every time I started my pc it started to randomly crash my pc. Any other ssd will work better than this one and even the advertised speeds are not so good so just look into buying any other ssd besides this one. Also one other thing that I think is decently common but is also annoying is that it says 2TB but mine is only 1.8 so either I got a bad one or this thing is just trash.

Performs well as an SSD for the price. Beware that the heatsink does have some depth to it so it may not be possible to install under a motherboard heat spreader or super thin laptop.

Go on your motherboard support page and check for compatibility. This SSD is not listed anywhere as compatible with ANY motherboard or operating system. I have had nothing but constant bugs and crashes for almost a year with ADATA not claiming any responsibility. ZERO issues with an SSD listed as compatible by my motherboard manufacturere. Why is it not compatible? The integrated storage controller is utter garbage. To get the price down they made a cacheless nvme SSD which allowed them to cheap out on the storage controller which is straight up weak and unable to handle extensive work loads. When updating windows, even minor updates, would force the SSD into a 100% use state and the controller just turns off and does not turn back on, making the ssd disappear from the BIOS. The moment you reset CMOS and completely power off the system, the SSD comes back to life as if nothing happened. These issues can happen several times in a day or once a year. For me it happens at random when I am simply trying to get work done.DO NOT BUY THIS SSD, Buy the XPG SX8200 or any other SSD. Overpaying is better in this case. This is simply cheap garbage.
