Sandisk Z400s 128GB M.2 2280 SSD

Great product for a great price. Really helped the speed of my desktop build.

Used this SSD to add a little life to an aging Lenovo Yoga 2 13 - worked perfectly. Installation was a snap, cloned the OS partition to the new drive and gained a noticeable performance increase.

Bought it to upgrade my HP Pavilion X2 which came with only 64GB. Wow! What a difference. This is significantly faster than the original and now I have room to actually store files on my hard dive. Installation was easy. I found instructions on HP's web site for opening the case. Then it was just one screw to remove the old drive and plug this one in.

As with any new storage device, i perform a format, but first I normallly do a scan and view of any preinstalled software on it. When i connected this to an external enclosure to perform the tasks, i noticed there is only 83Gb free of 118Gb, I explored the drive to notice there has already been an OS installed. the full complement of " Windows, Program Files, Users, etc..." folders on the drive... seem I have received a used drive...
