so I purchased the Seagate barracuda SSD 2TB and I've been utilizing this product for a couple of days now and like others who have done testing and benchmarks of this SSD I can't say it's let me down. So far my experience with it has been great and it does the job well. I utilized it first on my PC to test it out and see how it was doing and now I currently use it on my PlayStation 4 Pro where it definitely performs very well. It's brought new life to my PlayStation 4 Pro that I haven't seen prior to purchase. I would love to see a dual layer 4TB or even a 8TB SSD. If Seagate can really bring the performance, quality, price and not go triple layer then Samsung's got some competition at least in this type of SSD. Longevity, performance, durability, price these are all things that I look for in an SSD and hopefully this SSD brings me some good long-term use

There's not much to say... It's a decent deal for a good product. These are incredibly easy to install and it's well made. I got a 500GB as my first storage for my gaming PC. As expected, it filled up quick, but I would still say it's worth it over even a 2TB HDD. SSD boot speeds are lightning fast and I would recommend always using an SSD as your boot up storage. For new PC builders out there: if you're on a budget, get a 250GB SSD and use it as your boot storage. You can get a SATA 1TB HDD for the same price and use that to store your games. Even in-game load times take usually less than 5 seconds when I fast travel or go into another area, etc. You can get faster SSD's out there, but this one will still give you no issues.

This SATA SSD drive was easy to install in my Dell laptop. Installed operating system - Win 10 - no problems. Boots very quickly, no issues. I especially like the price point being lower than some other well known brands. The TBW (Total Bytes Written) specification for this drive/capacity is 300TB - same as Samsung EVO 860 of the same capacity. Also the 5 year warranty is nice. Overall, a great SSD at a lower cost.

It's simple to install if you know what you're doing. If you're new, go to Seagate's website and it should have info on cloning your driver and go from there. Also youtube how to videos. It will help prevent headaches. My startup is super fast and work is always steady with the new driver. I updated a Dell 14 7000 laptop. Fun to mess with and great response time. Delivery was early for this product.
