One of my laptops was reaching its storage limit. Luckily, it had an empty bay that would fit a 2.5" 7mm SATA drive. I got this one and it worked perfectly. Easy to install. Perfect.

They are exactly as described. They are a little louder and run a little warmer then my old Seagate drives, but they are faster. I have has them for a month now, I have had no errors or any issues.

I should have known better. I bought two of the 14TB "Enterprise" drives but didn't try to use them for 3 months while planning on building a server with them. Upon opening them and plugging them in, both drives are clattering loudly and you can hear the drive head just grinding away on the platters. No systems see them as valid drives and they just clatter away (been in IT since 1984...I know what a dead drive sounds like).Of course they're not under an actual Toshiba warranty and I'm past the Amazon return window so $400 down the drain. These also did not have the nice fancy sticker on them as shown in the picture. Just a generic white label with tiny print. Obviously used/re-branded drives. Stay awya.

I am replacing the HDD on my DVR. And I have already bought 4 of these TOSHIBA HDD. Before I had purchased Toshiba HDD for my Laptops. The short conclusion is 1 - reliable and high quality made product.
