I didn't need a great big drive to get my G5 Power Mac back up and running, this drive worked beautifully. Just needed something to get Leopard installed and play with it a little bit.

I purchased a couple of these drives for a software RAID setup. They have been running 24x7 for a month now. No problems. Just what you'd expect and want.
Anikin
This is the first new WD drive i've ever had to exchange. It started getting bad sectors within a month of installation. (The sectors were probably under the pagefile. So, i noticed it when Windows 7-64 started crashing/blue-screen with Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error 0x0000007A.)Performance remained good.Amazon is doing a 1-day replacement shipment. So, we'll see how the replacement does.

You can get a 1TB hard drive of the same speed for around the same price why wold you buy 80GB?
