I purchased this card about 6 months ago and noticed that it runs hot even when undervolting and setting a fan profile. I decided to take it up a notch by adding a aio water cooler kit from NZXT and some thermal pads and heat sinks for the vram. If you can do this mod please do it my card runs at around 60 degrees Celsius max now where as before I was push mid 90 degree Celsius. Over all it was easy to attach the water cooler and at a additional 150$ for a kraken aio water cooler and the gpu mounting kit it put the gpu at a 500$ price tag. Still worth every penny it’s so stable now I’ve actually added a overclock to it and it’s stable and stays cool

The media could not be loaded. It can run most games at 200+ frame rate. Runs 1080p great so I can imagine this thing can do 1440p. Very high quality card. Very cheap for the 200 dollar price. Runs slightly hot but has never overheated. Overall very well performing card in games.

I am on a 1080 display. So this card kills it for what I do. Starfield runs on high between 55 - 60 fps. One of the most demanding games out there. RDR2 runs 60 fps. I upgraded from a Radeon 390x, so temp wise runs cooler. No coil whine, but loud fans. All in all a great card.

the rx5700xt is a good graphics card, that should be obvious. The real deciding factor is whether or not you are ok with loud fans and higher temps. if you go with AMD make sure to get something like a sapphire model that has known better cooling for like 20 bucks more. I was playing apex at 144hz on ultra settings and in order to keep the challenger cool the fans had to spin too fast making it so loud. I now have a RTX 2060 super and for slightly lower frame rates i get a much more quiet experience AND less power consumption.
