The Gigabyte RX 5600 XT is a pretty solid card giving an amazing experience at the price point for 1080p gaming. However, make sure you visit Gigabyte's website to update the vBios to get the performance boost that it is capable of. Before the Bios update, the card does 1500MHz, and AFTER the update, it is capable of doing 1750MHz, a pretty sizeable difference. Only thing is that for some reason, while specifically playing Apex Legends, it consistently crashes my entire computer, to where a hard reboot is required, and is a known issue, due to AMD's drivers. AMD has stepped their game up alot recently, lets hope they continue to make improvements

I love this beast of a card! i had some small hiccups in the beginning but its worked itself out and now i dont have any problems even after the bios update to 1750MHz! I really love the RGB on the card. I managed to get my card into the HAF 912 case and its touching the HDD cage. it was definitely worth the money well spent! Definitely would recommend this card to anyone who want to experience the ultimate of 1080p gaming! The adrenaline software is great! again a few hiccups but we got passed them.

UPDATE: May 11th, 2020I figured out how to get the card to run properly with the updated vbios! Here are 10 steps to a stable BIOS update:1. Download "AMD Cleanup Utility" from AMD's website to remove all old drivers and Radeon software2. Launch it and click "yes" to reboot and run it in safe mode3. Reboot your PC after the cleanup utility has finished4. Download "Auto-Detect and Install Radeon™ Graphics Drivers for Windows" on AMD's website and follow the prompts. Make sure you close out of any running programs before installation. When it asks you to choose between "Gaming, eSports, or Standard" CHOOSE STANDARD. Or skip it5. Once the Radeon software is open, go to settings on the top right and click "Graphics". Make sure everything is disabled and it's on Standard5A. It's a good idea to save your original bios as a .rom file using GPU-Z (Click the share button next to the bios version number)6. Now go to Gigabyte's website and search for RX 5600 XT and click on "support" when you're on its page7. Download Version "FA0" -- on the right it will say "Memory Clock: 14000Mhz". This is the one you want.8. Extract all files and find "GVFLASH" and run it as administrator. Again, make sure no other programs are running and click "Start Flash"9. Should be pretty quick. When it's finished it will prompt you to restart your computer.10. Check GPU-Z to verify your new clock speeds! You can also check Radeon Software in settings > System > under the Hardware dropdown. If it shows "Memory Bit Rate: 14.00 Gbps" then it was a successful bios flash!-- *If it is still not stable for you in game, I would recommend flashing to Version F2 and call it a day. You won't get the upgraded performance, but it will be stable.Try this at your own risk, but keep in mind that this boost in performance is what AMD intended for this card since launch.UPDATE: May 8th, 2020AMD has been recommending 5600 XT owners to update the VBIOS to increased base clock speeds and memory speed to 14Gbps instead of 12Gbps. They've had this available since its release in January, but this is the first time AMD publicly said to update the vbios. You need to follow the manufacturers instructions, but Gigabyte's bios update is listed as FA0 on their website. Flash at your own risk guys, but I could not go more than a few seconds into any game without it black screening and crashing. There are some serious instability issues with this bios update from Gigabyte. It's a shame that we cant have its full power out of the box. I reflashed it to its original bios and has been totally fine. You can also download the F2 bios update file from Gigabyte under FA0. Some manufacturers are shipping their cards with 14Gbps, but mine did not. Download GPU-Z to check your card's specs. _Removing a star for the troublesome and frustrating bios update from Gigabyte that is supposed to improve its performance that AMD intended upon its release. But all said and done, I still consider it the best value card for the money right nowI started with a somewhat budget build that turned into a pretty decent gaming pc. I did a lot of research on the NVIDIA RTX and AMD RX graphics cards and came down to the RTX 2060 and RX 5600XT. The better value was clearly the 5600XT as it crushes the 2060 in many benchmarks at 1080p and even 1440p. I took a gamble knowing the AMD cards had some issues with drivers and some need to update their VBIOS, but I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This thing ran perfectly right out of the box with no overclocking or VBIOS updates. I already had AMDs most recent drivers installed so it was plug and play for me. The Gigabyte 5600XT runs cool and quiet under load and silent at idle. I mainly play modern warfare and have been averaging 95-105fps at 1440p with textures and anti-aliasing on max and everything else disabled or low to optimize visuals and fps. Great card by Gigabyte, and I highly recommend picking one up if you're on the fence.System SpecsMB: ASUS ROG Strix B450-F GamingCPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 12-Thread w/AMD Wraith Prism LED RGB coolerStorage: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 512GBMemory: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO White 16GB 3200MHz DDR4PSU: Corsair CX650M - 650WCase: NZXT H510Fans: Asiahorse White FS-N001 RGB

I originally wanted a 5700 XT but was just a tad bit too much for my wallet so, I've bought this card instead for my first ever Desktop build and I have to say is that I love it.Let me also say that I didn't update the VBIOS, so I'm running with the out of box VBIOS. I did update to the latest version of Adrenalin software 20.2.01. I've yet to experience anything ridiculous or bad about the drivers yet. The worst offender I've encountered is tearing when I'm working in a Word doc. My system sometimes won't wake up from sleeping but that's most likely a separate issue unrelated to the card itself.Games that I've run on this card so far have been Civ 5, Fortnite, Apex Legends, League of Legends, Overwatch, Starcraft 2, They Are Billions, Shogun 2 at 1080p, 144hz and they run at very respectable frame rates.A small gripe I have is that I have to turn on manually fan adjustment in the Adrenalin software as they set it to turn fans on at around 60 degrees celsius. A minor nuisance but just be careful as I heard fans don't turn on even when they get to that level, again, something I've yet to experience. All in all, I love this card, it's serving me fine, the driver issues people have been fear mongering about have gone unnoticed by me. It keeps cool, not too loud and looks nice in my rig. I'll keep up to date if anything changes. I plan on upgrading the VBIOS to the newest version sometime later, but for right now, I'm content.Build:CASE: Corsair 220T Airflow RGBCPU: Ryzen 2700COOLER: Scythe Mugen 5 Rev.BGPU: Gigabyte 5600 XT OC, non-updated VBIOS as of 2/7/2020Mobo: Asus TUF x570RAM: 16 GB ( 8x2 ) G.Skill Trident, 3200 MHZPSU: Seasonic FOCUS GX 750 Watts 80+ GoldSSD: 1 TB Samsung QVO 860M.2: 500 GB Samsung Evo 970
