Got it to run Steam games on my computer. Worked with minimal struggle on my Ubuntu 19.x machine with an i7-4790k Intel Board (also msi, got this hoping for a shred of added manufacturer compatibility). Just had to figure out getting drivers installed and flying colors. For the price point it plays everything I've wanted it to with very little lag. Word to the wise: install the drivers before you install the card, it blanked my screen at first, but once drivers were settled, it booted right back up, and works as good as the on-board (plus obvious performance bump). Even handles my weird three monitor setup, including an A/B HDMI switch that I use to swap output between my one desk monitor and living room TV fairly well. When I upgraded my distro, I had to pull it off the board and turn the drivers back on, and will likely continue to have to do that, because the blank screen boot happened again, but hey...that's the kind of quirk I'd expect from unsupported hardware.

This thing handles most modern games @ 1080p on high settings. On low settings @1080p it can drive a 144hz monitor with fair ease for competitive gaming. I would not recommend if you are going for maximum quality, but it's a great value and can fit in a wide variety of builds. My girlfriend uses it for Overwatch and her fps are around 200.The fact that it only runs of PCIE power and needs no PSU connectors is very convenient, though it allows very little overclocking headroom. The power limit is locked at 100% and because of this and you can push it no further. This is a tradeoff for convenience and cleanliness of the build.

The evaluations on this product were correct. The graphics card was fast; the screen resolution was sharp and detailed; and the software driver was very easy to install..I was able to purchase two CUSTOMER RETURNS for $103 each. This was a "steal," for the NEW cost $230..The graphics cards were NEW. The only things missing were the original box, software disc, and instructions. So, I had to download the stuff.

When i decided to get a refurbished pc and drop a gpu in it, i would have simply been happy playing my game without glitching out. I was used to playing on the lowest possible settings to get the best fps on my older lenovo.I got this card and plugged it in. It barely fit (do the math).I tested War thunder with every setting maxed out besides ssao=0With adaptive sync i get even 60fps on my 60hz 1080hp monitor!Ssao will take about 20-30 frames out, but even then it is a very playable (and beautiful!) experience.Do i recommend this card? Its the best card i can fit inside my 2018 refurb hp without psu mods (proprietary psu connectors as most such brands). It works like a charm, is quiet enough, and overclocked out the box from what ive read.Yeah, if you can afford 160 bucks, it is a dream. Thanks and good luck.
